This bhajan was written by renowned Jain Poet Pt. Bhudhar Das Ji (1750-1806) more than 200 years ago. He wrote in the Braj Bhasha of his native Agra, interspersed with Khari Boli forms and Sanskrit, Prakrit, Arabic, Persian, and Rajasthani words.
