3rd Medical Recruiting Battalion Commander LTC Bartinco, CSM Thomas, and guest MarnieAnn Polkky, Melissa Michaelson both from Michigan Technological University, and Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army, MAJ General (Retired) Marcia Anderson visited Fort McCoy, WI for the 2024 Global Medic Exercise. Global Medic is an annual multicomponent, multinational collective training exercise where forces from all components along with joint and international partners perform medical training exercises to test their medical equipment and systems along with treatment techniques and procedures to help increase medical readiness for future conflicts. Global Medic focuses specifically on joint medical and sustainment training with 8,000 US Reserve Forces and Coalition partners that are geographically separated locations.
