Lerda 1000 My new square baler
Переглядів 3,5 тис.4 роки тому
Welcome on Mark the farmer channel! I recently bought a “NEW” Lerda 1000-L square baler. This baler was made in Italy, and it was designed for small and narrow roads. The width of the baler is just 180 cm (or 71 In) and the weight is 960 Kg (or 2116 Lbs). The pick-up width is 100 cm (or 40 In) and it’s a bit difficult to pick up hay from windrow as you can see in the video but with practice it ...

This video is showing how you connect twine from bale to knotter disc. First you put twine bales in the bale chamber. You will need to put at least 2 or 4 bale of twine. Then you need to guide the twine from the bale through the twine tension system, down through plastic rings and through the needle and up to the hay chamber. Now you start up your tractor any engage PTO to turn the baler and yo...

Ja sam iz Srbije pa me interesuje kako bi mogao da dodjem do takvog uputstva kako imate vi.Da li bi mogli vi nekako da mi pošaljete spreman sam da platim kolko treba.Bio bi vam neizmerno zahvalan.
Hi i dont have this book any more.. i give it away as i sold the bailer... i find this on a web side.. try to type mccormick b46 owner manual book pdf it may find some thing
@@markthefarmer Hvala vam
Great video! Really helpfull
Have a good work hay seson is just starting up.. happy that it helped you!
Hi, I have a b46 and the rod connecting the needle carrier is broken. What are the sizes of it so I can get a replacement
Hi Am sorry but i dont have this bailer any more for some years now... Look up online if you find some replaycment parts.. is it possible to weld the broken part??
New twine knives (part # 668962R1 ) are too expensive. Luckily before my dad passed he bought a box of parts at a dealer closeout auction. It had a bag with several of these - a lifetime supply for me. I have a later model 430 "All Twine" which uses a cam linked moving knife that uses the same blade.
Yes they are.. Some put razor blades and it works beatter than stock

Hello my father bought a new B46 in 1965 it was the best baler we ever had .we had B47 and 440 and 445 all international. Would love to buy a B46 if anybody had any knowledge of one for sale.
yes i belive that the international put a lot of knolege in B series for that time... but sorry i dont know any one who selling it right now...
Thank you!
Thanks for the video. I have an IH 425 baler and it's similar. I have to thread the needle on one side as it pulled out when twine got tangled in the twine chamber.
Maybe you rotat the empty baler by hand and you might see wher is the problem ?
Very clever design! Would you be able to list the dimensions? How high off of the ground, the depth from front to back, dimensions of the head spacers and the space between them? I think these are exactly what we need for our meat goats, Kiko/Spanish/Savanna and a little Boer cross.
How do I thight the shuttle? Is slipping out from shuttle... please help

You're the only video of doing this, I have a well sized b47. Your video will prove invaluable no doubt.
Thanks! Am happy that video helped you... b46 and b47 are a bit differend but i think not that much 👍👍
Dober traktor.
Na koju nacin mogu dobiti upustvo za b47. Unaprijed hvala!
I dont know.. try to find it in google by mccormick b47 owner manual some think like that
@@markthefarmer hvala na razumjevanju, pokusao sam da nadjem ali nisam uspio. Upustvo og b46 je slucno kao b47.
@@dankoloncar7134 b47 it a bit differend than b46, because b47 is newer model-jounger than b46.
Those bailers don't like modern string, knives find it hard to cut, old hemp string is better.
Hi there Yes I agree but here where I live we have only this plastic string-twine. Thanks for comment
thanks mate
That helped heaps cheers.
Your welcome 👍
Hi, I do have a similar baler, how can I access the manual for use here in Kenya (East Africa)

Hi. Thanks for your informative video. We have a problem with our device regarding the correct timing of the knifes no matter what we do, it either cuts the robe early or it comes to late. Can you tell us the correct setting or any idea how to set this up?

Had to do knotters on my MF baler after watching this video I'm back up and running, thanks
You're welcome, happy that my video helped you 👍
@@markthefarmer it helped a lot, greeting from Ireland
Mark I am thinking of buying this make as I have only a small tractor 35 CV and it is hilly where I am. You must be on your second year of use with it. Have you had any issues with the knotting mechanism and are you confident in getting Spares. I live in the central south of Italy but the company is still based a long way away in the north?
Hello Toy with words Yes I'm in the second year now, i must say i did not have any priblems yet and I'm very happy with it. The previous owner say that the parts for this baler can still be found, because the knoters are some german sistem used on many balers. Hope I help you if you need anything let me know. Mark
@@markthefarmer Many thanks Mark. I am on the lookout now and hope someone in Italy sells one
Porque me dobla las avujas
More info please
Вышли в Украину таку кныжку
I think it was published in most languages wher they sold the balers
Can I get the manual please
Hi I don't have it any more, I give it to new owner.
@@markthefarmer thanks a lot
Hi Mark I've got the same baler and I've changed from sisal twaine to plastics and one end of the twaine is coming out from the disc and only one end of the twaine is getting knotted What can be the problem?
Is your disc damage is missing a pin on the end, cus mine was and i had to take the disc out and weld some metal up.... take a mesure from knife and disc and do with spect.. or take the mesure from the disc to knife that making knots and adjust the other one ... have a look to nidles as well if they are too worn out the twine cant come up to disc and disc canot take ... You can spin your baler by hand its a bit harder but you will see how it is working and where does it miss... Hope i help you
@@markthefarmer Thank you Regards Dimmy
