As a LW main, This happens to me a lot, sometimes I grab the wrong person (because they get in the way of my grip) and they make me feel really bad when they look at me like that! :(

They should give the player being pulled the option to dash in a direction after being pulled. So if it’s a bad pull I can dash back towards my original position.

I think the point is sigma staying there to long would mean either he would get focused by pushing in to far easily, or dps would dive his back line and he wouldn’t be there to help. Either way it was lifeweavers way of saying hold the choke where cart is or we get split of and die. Tbh not a bad pull, but if the tank did get in trouble or his back line he could’ve pulled him after. Impossible to tell what the right call is without knowing if the enemy comp had dive or not. Edit: they have hog Ana on enemy team. Sig gets slept or hooked, lw prolly made the right call.
100% a bad pull. Tempo negative pulls are not good. The whole point of his kit is to enable aggressive plays you’d not be able to normally. If you don’t play it that way you’re just slowly waiting for the enemy to outplay your cooldowns.
Sigma has Grasp, and a full barrier. If he got focused, he had many tools at his disposal to survive getting focused. If he got Hooked, and anti'd, _then_ it would be a good pull, since he would deny Roadhog's CD and Ana's value. But since quite literally nothing happened, and the part that Sigma is standing menacingly at is the harder part of the choke (the narrow walls and one flank angle means that Sigma has the spaceous advantage and could easily keep the enemy team hostage, and ping any strays trying to go for a flank), Lifeweaver could not have made a worse call.

It was an ass pull. Forget the choke. Everyone always wants to fight at the turn but don't realize that you can get an extra fight in that open area near spawn further prolonging their chances of getting cart. If you were to lose at the choke then really the only other fight is at the second turn right when cart is nearing the checkpoint. But if you started near their spawn, you have that fight and the other 2 points.
The exact problem you’re mentioning can be remedied by lifegrip as it happens. You don’t need to do it 15s before they even walk out the spawndoors. Now they’re just gonna walk up and sleep/hook him and there’s gonna be no grip to save them.
I mean, you pulled a 550 health tank. That may have gotten a kill there.
