I have no experience in music production.
So in other words, I'm going into FL Studio blind.
The goal is to make fire beats....

First things first, gotta remove the rust and stay on task.
After that (which I speculate that will take about a month or so) gotta start to learn how to switch the beat up....

Haven't been working on making beats lately. Just had a lot on my plate for the past few weeks. The skills I've gotten isn't GONE, but it sure was hard to make a beat. Took a little while to make this, and still, it's not that good either. Better get back on the grind. Progress: To be Continued.

not sure if I can say this is a step-by-step as I don't really slow down, it's more like a 'what I do' or 'how I do it' type of video. But straight tot he point. If you want it sound more alive, you might want to go back to the first Pattern, so Pattern 1, and press f7, and without selecting ANYTHING, hit 'ALT' 'r'. This will allow you to mix the volumes of each induvial note to bring it a litt...

I think by far, this is the smoothest landing I've ever done. The way it comes together, and the ending with the soft tone. That was quite nice. "A sound that would make you sleep" That's how I would put it. The 3 hours of working on this was 100% worth it. Progress*~

honestly, I wonder what I made. I'm at a lost of words myself. To say it's easy would be a lie, but it could be if you just copy and paste, but it took way to long to make a so-so beat. But honestly, it could have been worst. Glade it didn't go off the rails... not that far anyhow.... Prgoress*~

I would like to call this beat... the 🐢 beat. Slow and groovy. Not hard, but not weak. RIGHT*~ in the center. It's easier to make than it really looks. It's just a little mess.... or maybe, VERY messy. oops*. Progress*~

to be frankly honest with you, I just wanted to make something with a repeat melody. (the first beat) It came out nice, but surely not perfect. I did mess around with it for quite sometime but I thought it was best to not poke it too much as it could spoil it. Like a fruit that is played with to much. But none the less, the goal was met, so... Progress*~

If you were tryna make a terraria type beat then this is Ait But if I were you I would try learning some more interesting chord progressions and getting some better drum kits that you can find on the internet for free, so u don’t have to use the boring stock drums And just listen to music and pay attention to the instrumentals and beats and you can learn from it if you study the sound and take notes Good luck

Great work! It could use a bit of something a think. I'm a huge distortion fan. "Doom type music" is one of my songs with distortion and I think aiming for a similar kind of distortion with a few long deep held notes could really add a lot!
