The Honda is back together less an instrument cluster cover. A few things to fix on it in stock trim prior to adding on the supercharger.

A quick lookaround at where the starting point is on the VFR project. The bike had been stripped back a bit before the prior owner put it in storage. This just documents the starting point.

Koupil jsem si z důchodu tu stjnou barevná kombinace rok 2003můj mazel dávám si ju do krásy ❤❤🤔🤗❤
Thank you for video. Best regards from Poland
I just found this, and I'm excited to see the process. Keep 'em coming!
Subscribed. Thank you for documenting and sharing the journey.
Incredible bike bro!!
Glad to come across your channel. I absolutely love mine! Same exact livery but with all white wheels(and the very hard to find 8 spoke spider rear wheel), OEM side cases etc. Been looking for that supercharger from A&A released years ago but its very hard to find. So stoked yours have one. Enjoy her brother!
I miss my vfr. I had the 25th anniversary ed and i regret selling it but a back injury prevented me from ever riding again. To hear those sounds again, thank you no one even other riders have no clue the sounds and power of the vtec
Ah yes... The legendary supercharged Viffer....
@@Ughandi soon to be!!!
What sort of cost and power from stock mate?
@andy2906 for the supercharger? When it was released, the kit was ~$5,000 usd. Took bike from around 100hp to about 175.
‼️ I could feel the excitement ‼️ As you drove out 🙏❤️ Love from Scotland ❤️🙏
Hi people. I'm in Australia, I just bought a 2007 Mint VFR800. I'll be picking it up in a few weeks. Only 3400km on it been garaged and never seen the rain. I can't wait. If anyone can tell me where to find a supercharger....I'd be very happy.
To my knowledge there were only 6 kits produced for the 6th generation VFR800. The Facebook group "Boosted vfr owners" may have more info for you.
@@jonathanboring3286 thanks brother, I appreciate that.
@@jonathanboring3286 I joined boosted VFR, cheers. Seems like a supercharger may remain a dream unless I can find a work around, like building one myself as the rotrax 15-60 is still widely available.
What brand are the exhaust pipes? Thank you
The header is a one-off that was a group buy from some VFR owners on a forum. The silencers will be Leo Vince.
I can't find the brand of the silencers. they are certainly silencers adapted to VFR

Subies forever guys and girls. If you keep it stock, the cars will run forever.
Amen brother. I own a 2020 WRX/STI and I'm @68K. Im going to put 200K or more miles on my STI as well. I had a 2017 WRX and the clutch went out @101K. My fault. 😊
I'm going to follow along. I just picked up a 2006 VFR to restore. But no supercharger on mine 😂
Nice! It in good shape?
Congrats any updates? Also prior to reaching the 200k mile mark, did you ever do Walnut shell blasting or run an AOS/Catch can or EGR delete? Trying to determine if those things are necessary on my 20’WRX with ~37k miles. Thanks
I have a 2018 Crosstrek about to hit 100k not major issues, only problem is the car is slow haha!!!!
My dream is to track one of these down or somehow get my hands on the supercharger kit. The guys who made them doesn't make them anymore.
How about diff fluid changes or tranny gear fluid ? I have 162xxx never done
Fuel pump is not working
is it worth buying a 2016 limited wrx with 80k miles? 1 owner
Provided the car checks out and they have kept up with maintenance, I wouldn't be afraid of it.
About to get my first Wrx for commuting on Monday! 2020 25,000 miles.get this guy a hat!! Thanks for the vid. Makes me feel more confident in this thanggg
I have always been a biased honda boy. I recently got a 2016 Subaru Levorg with 40,000 KMS (we use KMS in the Philippines) and have fallen in love with the car. Been doing a lot of research since I do not know the ins and outs of this vehicle and have been worried with reliability concerns. I am getting more confidence now after watching your video. Thanks
I bought the 22 and long story short I’m on track to do the same…. Travel about 45k a year so far. Sales job :)
Get after it!
This is so awesome
Did you pull/change the cat code plug or keep it as-is?
I put in the lambda probe on the system, no other changes.
I keep hearing that people are finding that their r1100's don't run properly with only a modified exhaust. Did you notice any problems after the install? If so how did you conteract those issues? Thinking about picking this system up for my GS
I did the exhaust, a new ECU, a K&N, and new injectors all at the same time. Short version, never noticed an issue. John Gemi for the chip and Injectors. He sells kits set up for your bike and options.
@@jonathanboring3286 where did you find another ecu?
I ordered a new chip from John Gemi. He's on Facebook in the BMW boxer groups. Think he's in Greece.
Is the car still alive?
Sold it summer 2020
The FA series motor is brilliant.
What brand and weight oil did you use?
Whatever synthetic the shop had when I needed a change. OEM weight recommedation.
GET THIS MAN A HAT
Still the original clutch? Impressive. My 06 clutch failed at 160k, later a control arm ball was completely worn out. Swapped the 06 @ 199k for a 2018 PR.
Stripped-down, sincere, and genuine-damn near made my cry. 😂 Thanks, my Dude.
What would you consider regular maintenance. I’ve been changing my oil every 3,000 miles because I’ve heard that’s better for the car. 21’ wrx
I did a LOT of highway driving. I changed oil every 6k, air filter every 12, and all fluids (trans, diffs, brakes, coolant etc...) every 2 years (about 80k). Regular tire rotation every 6k miles. Short drives where engine oils doesn't get to temp decrease oil life in running gear, change more often if you do a lot of city driving. That also impacts carbon buildup if engine tends to run "cooler", IE, short trips. That will tend to carbon up a bit more.
i've had my subaru for less than a year and have had to replace several critical parts. JP made unit.
Thank you for giving me faith on my WRX 2020. It's only 15k now.
This, is what shows taking care of your car will do. My dumb ass bought mine, was showing off to friends launching it for a few years and one day grenaded the transmission. $7300 later after building a fresh cased trans, I now drive like I’m charioting miss daisy. Well, kinda haha. Hope mine lives that long, so far being on trans number 2, I gotta say I’m proud the engine out lived the trans
Currently leasing a 2021 WRX. After watching this I have confidence in buying it out at the end. Thank you!
Hehe just turned over 53k on my 2015 😂
My only regret in buying my WRX is that I didn't buy it sooner.
Is this ar still alive? If not how many miles it lasted
