Okay I need the details about this cruise please because I’m considering going on it in April. Was it all old people? Things close down early? I’m used to the 7 day cruises and going to bed at least by 1am after getting my late night pizza and closing down the bars,piano bar or club!! Honest opinion please!!!🙏
Hey Jacob! The demographic was comprised of mostly older people, which note that the elevators will always be occupied. The casino was insanely packed every night. The Radiance is a smaller ship. But go-in knowing that! Going to Hawaii on a cruise is fantastic and unique!! The islands are gorgeous!! I'm happy we did it!
We will be on this cruise on Jan. We want to rent a car and explore at different ports. Which port(s) would you recommend renting a car? Thanks

@@bieberfever5046 Yes. But make sure when you book the car they have the option to meet you at the port, most of the time it's an extra fee, but worth it! Have a blast!

Very well! It cuts through the ocean effortlessly! Granted it is a smaller boat, so the captain needs to be ocean savvy too! I've driven bigger boats in the ocean and still prefer my Challenger!
How was the food?
The buffet was not great! But the two specialty dining choices were good!

Hello! We took the bus that Royal had at the port. It was 10 Euros for roundtrip. There were taxis, but the bus was easier. The bus also comes to pick you up every 20 minutes in downtown to make it easy to get back to the ship.

Thanks Delecia!! In Italy, we exclusively booked through Italy Tours EU (Great rates and super friendly). The cruise was charging almost triple for what we did. They also have a great cancelation policy.www.italytours.eu/ For France, we booked an excursion through the cruise.
How may days before you need to take covid test before going on the ship
48 hours. Right when landed we scheduled a COVID test.

They did have Don Julio and Patron for Tequila and Kettle One for Vodka. And, they did have champagne when we were there. The views are amazing!

Where did u guys get your test? I was gonna do cvs. They said 1-2 day results
We did the CVS rapid PCR test, which was free. Here is the link: www.cvs.com/minuteclinic/covid-19-testing We had results within an hour.

Depending on the cruise line. You’ll need your actual vaccination card and a negative covid test. Check your cruise like website for details. Hope that helps

I have a 2008 Challenger 180 and I want to do the same run as you. Was the tank close to empty when you got there? What was your cruising speed?
I filled it up all the way and cruising speed there was consistently 26-28 mph. Depending on how you drive, I had about a quarter of a tank left if not more when I arrived to Catalina. I bought a gas container to bring with me and fill-up for the way back and put 10 gallons in and made it back to Long Beach with no problem. The gas in Catalina is very expensive ($9 a gallon). Have a blast!!

What was your process of getting the taxi?
Definitely get an Uber once out of the airport, so much cheaper that way. If not then the taxi service is right out of the airport. We paid $30 for a taxi from the airport to the hotel when we could have paid $5 for the Uber.

@@ShelbyA2LA Yes, right when you're about to leave the airport they will be offering transportation of all sizes. We took a huge Mercedes shuttle by ourselves for $30 for the both of us. Make sure YOU set your price. Have Fun!!!

The premium alcohol was included with the room upgrade they offered us upon check-in for an additional $50 a night.
