Very informative interview. The work that the Bahai community is doing in the area of community-building & its educational endeavours are certainly comendable & need to be supported
“In connection with your teaching work: What the Guardian wishes you to particularly emphasize in all your talks is the supreme necessity for all individuals and nations in this day to adopt in its entirety the social program given by Bahá’u’lláh for the reconstruction of the religious, economic and political life of mankind. He wishes you to explain and analyze the elements that help in raising this Divine World Order in the light of the present-day events and conditions in the world. Special stress, he feels, should be laid on the impending necessity of establishing a super-national, and sovereign world state, as the one described by Bahá’u’lláh. With the world becoming increasingly subject to tumults and convulsions never experienced before, the realization of such a necessity is entering into the consciousness of not only the wise and learned, but of the common people as well. The believers should, therefore, seize this opportunity to make a supreme effort to present, in convincing and eloquent language, those social and humanitarian teachings of the Faith which we believe to constitute the sole panacea for the innumerable ills afflicting our present-day world.”
Thank you for this podcast. I would like to share a few thoughts: 1. The Bab was the "prophet herald" of the Baha'i faith as they claim him to be. He was not a "bearer" of the Baha'i faith as Ms. Nazneen claimed. 2. She is correct where she says that numerically there are few Baha'is but geographically they are spread throughout the world. According to the 2011 census of the Government of India there are 4572 Baha'is in India. But the Baha'is claim their number to be around 2 million which is not correct. There could be around 10,000 to 20,000 real practicing Baha'is in India. Most real Baha'is are Persians. 3. Ms. Rowhani speaks about equality of Men and Women as one of the core principle of the Baha'i faith. I respectfully disagree with such a claim because Baha'is don't allow women to become the members of the Universal House of Justice (the supreme administrative body of the Baha'is). Only men are allowed to become its members. 4. The NSA of the Baha'is of India owns some great schools, like the New Era School in Panchgani. But these schools charge a very hefty fees, only rich students can afford to get education there. Then there are some Baha'i inspired schools such as the City Montessori School which is also a great school but mostly for the privileged people. 5. Ms. Rowhani then claims that the Baha'i faith is "outward looking" which is correct, Baha'is do a lot of community building activities to introduce their religion to the non-Baha'is. Some Hindus have accepted the Baha'i faith in India but they also practice Hinduism. Persian Baha'is want to bring all such "Hindu Baha'is" into the absolute fold of the Baha'i Faith but so far they are unsuccessful in this project. 6. There are Orthodox Baha'is in India. I would request Rami Desai Ji to please conduct a podcast with them also, if possible. They are a very small group of more than a hundred people, but they are voiceless, persecuted, shunned and excommunicated by the mainstream community. Lots of appreciation for the good efforts of Rami Desai Ji. Thank you. Have a nice day. 🌻
This is all trash. You are a covenant-breaker. God will punish you.
Constructed history and half true answers
Very informative podcast regarding the history of the Baha'i faith.

Informative information ❤❤❤
Heart touching conversation❤
Very informative interview giving deep insights about the Baha'i Faith
Your best podcast by far!!! ❤
Thanku❤
What an informative video featuring a conversation between Ms. Rami and Ms. Nazneen. I gained many beautiful insight about the Baha'i Faith.
Baha'i Faith is bright light all other religions are dim light.
This is the religion for today.
This is the sole solution. This is the only religion that has no sects.
The Baha'i Faith is a religion where everyone can come together to offer a Prayer, gain their intellectual knowledge, space for youths to play their important role. The Baha'i Faith is to bring love and unity among the Humanity.
Baha'i Faith is the only solution. We need to work very hard. We need to give the healing message of Baha'u'llah to as many as possible. The increase in the number of children's classes worldwide during the Five Year Plan was dramatic. At the beginning of the Plan, there were some 3,800 children's classes worldwide serving 42,000 children, the vast majority of whom (87 per cent) came from Baha'i families. By April 2006, there were well over 10,000 classes serving more than 93,000 children, of which 56 per cent came from the wider community. (THE FIVE YEAR PLAN, 2001-2006: Summary of Achievements and Learning - Prepared under the supervision of the International Teaching Centre)
Bahá'í Faith is a religion that is needed by all the people of this era🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤
Only if the Baha'is really offer what they preach and advertise their religion for!
Very nice ❤
A loving and insightful conversation. Thank you Rami and Nazneen for the wonderful session.
Wonderful interview! both host and guest was expressing the needed respect to each other.
Profound concepts and insights about the Bahai Faith, very well expressed by the Secretary general of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahai's of India. Truly amazing conversation.
Great sequence of questioning by Rami madam.
The Baha’i Faith as an organization does the complete opposite of what they teach ‘seekers’. They tell interested souls that it is a universal religion that accepts the validity of all religions, then goes around telling its own membership that the world is suffering because all of humanity hasn’t become Baha’is. It tells interested minds that the Baha’i Faith doesn’t demand or accept blind faith, unlike those ‘old religions’, but then tells skeptical believers that ‘there are some things you’re just going to have to accept, even if you can’t understand the wisdom of it at the moment’. It tells open hearts that there is no clergy in the Baha’i Faith, that the consciences of human beings are sacred and should be protected, that every one has the right and obligation to independently investigate the truth, that every one has the right to express their concerns and opinions without fear; yet its top leadership disenrolls, excommunicates, and shuns those who ‘cross the line’. I don’t blame Baha’u’llah or ‘Abdu’l-Baha for this, though. I think it is the organization’s fault for missing the mark of their teachings drastically. Baha’u’llah and ‘Abdu’l-Baha would have had to been total hypocrites or lost all memory of being prisoners of conscience in Iran and the Ottoman Empire, to then set up their own version of religion that scares people from speaking their true feelings and opinions by threatening them with the possibility of shunning and excommunication, or being subject to religious tribunals with different names, etc.
@@NaserEmtesali You are a CB and we cannot engage with people like you. No unity with the enemies of the Faith. You guys are poison.
The Baha'i Faith was accepted by the people of Persia but opposed by clergy and government.
Yes. This is a Persian religion for the entire humanity, except the people of Israel. Baha'is don't teach Israeli citizens. This is their "policy" from the time of Baha'u'llah.
Dear Sir, You are right but It’s not a policy of Baha’i Faith, let me throw some light on the topic you shared in the Comment! In the history of humanity and religions, we all know the story of the Jewish community and there suffering and also how the State of Israel was finally a land for the Jewish community. So when Bahaullah ordained His Son Abdulbaha to Bring the physical remains of the Báb and to build a holy shrine of the Báb on Mount Carmel, which is in the city of Haifa, Israel. And The Bahais when requested to buy that land indicated by Bahaullah! The Israel Government was worried, that if we let you build the holy places and the Bahá’í Head Administrative bodies in Israel, soon every Bahá’í would wish to come and settle in Israel! Then where will the Jews go again? So taking care of these and few more concerns of the Israel’s Government, Shoghi Effendi who was appointed as the Guardian of Baha’i Faith by Abdulbaha, he agreed to an agreement which had a few conditions, like, Bahá’ís won’t be teaching there Faith in the State of Israel, another Condition was that no individual Baha’i will ever buy a property be it land or House in Israel, and a few more things! Therefore we obey and keep the promises made by the Guardian to the Government of Israel. So we don’t teach or have any such activities in the state of Israel. But it would surprise you that, at the Baha’i House of worship, New Delhi, India, several tourists and visitors from Israel come and get to learn about the Baha’i Faith. And while visiting the Baha’i Information Centre they see the pictures of Baha’i Holy Places and the Panoramic picture of Shrine of The Báb and the Seat of the Universal House of Justice, then those visitors get surprised and question us that all these places are in our country (Israel) and why did I never got to know about this? We tell them the reality that we can’t tell you there, but you can now investigate for yourself! And the truth is One for All! 💜 Love from India 🇮🇳
@@shobhitraj732 Shobhit Ji, but there is a site, marked with an obelisk, that has been selected for a future Bahá'í Temple in the vicinity of the Bahá'í World Centre on Mt. Carmel in Haifa. If there are no plans of converting the Jews to the Baha'i faith then why do the Baha'is need such a Temple on Mount Carmel? Or may be in the future this policy will change? Who knows. One Israeli told me that the Baha'is are a "guest" in Israel and we take care of and respect our "guests." 💚
@@NaserEmtesali Entire world will have to embrace the Baha'i Faith. There is no other solution.
I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the wonderful episode on the Baha'i Faith. Your insightful questions and thoughtful approach to the topic made it an incredibly enlightening experience. I deeply enjoyed learning more about the principles and teachings of the Baha'i Faith, and Ms. Nazneen's ability to convey such profound ideas in an accessible way is truly commendable.
Agreed. Only she or Mrs. Sorabjee can be considered as the best person for this type of podcast.
So profound and amazing conversation. Thank you so much Nazneen Madam. Congratulations.
Wonderful... Baha'i faith brings people to all races together, when you meet a member of Baha'i faith, it's like meeting a member of your on family, matter where they're from, or colour, you feel that you're home.
As rightly commented by Ms. Rami Desai, Ms. Naznene Rowhani’s introduction of the Baha’i Faith has been “…Absolutely, that was so eloquently put ….it’s not very easy to understand Faith and its Principles in such a short while…..”! Well done 👍🙏
Ms. Nazneen talks so much of equality of men and women but she censors the information that women are not allowed to become the members of the Universal House of Justice!
This is so informative conversation on Baha'i Faith which is very much needed for each soul and humanity as whole 🎉
Shua Ullah, the eldest grandson of Baha'u'llah once said : _"I personally hesitate to commit myself [to the Baha'i faith] with the existing conditions amongst us, as today we observe only the differences of ideas, lack of cooperation, discord, enmity, selfishness, and hatred-while we should believe that smiles are better than frowns, kindness better than coldness, commendation better than criticism, sympathy better than deception, love better than hate, friendship better than enmity, unity better than discord, and peace better than chaos."_ (A Lost History of the Baha'i Faith, by Eric Stetson)
@@NaserEmtesali Who cares about the descendants of Baha'u'llah?? They all broke the Covenant of God and thus cut off from the tree of life.
Its a great opportunity to the Secretary General of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of India to share about the history of the faith and its principles. Hope this message will definitely spread and bond of love and unity among the people not only in India but also all around the world.
Beautiful information about Baha'i faith history
*Some lesser known facts about the Baha'i Faith* 1) Women are not allowed to serve the most Supreme Administrative Body, the Universal House of Justice. So there is no Equality of Men and Women. 2) Baha'is are working to establish a Baha'i inspired New World Order, a Baha'i Super-state, headquartered in Haifa, Israel. 3) Baha'is shun (ex-communicate) Covenant-Breakers and execrate them. 4) Baha'is persecute the so called covenant-breakers, they have desecrated the grave of Diya'u'llah who was buried next to his father Baha'u'llah. 5) Baha'is have as many as 15 splinter groups, sects. 6) Baha'is have their religious text Copyrighted and religious symbols Trademarked. 7) Baha'is teach their 'faith' everywhere except in Israel for unknown reasons! 8) Baha'is lie regarding their population, they claim their population in India to be over 1.8 Million, while the government census of 2011, reveals their figure to be 4572. 9) Baha'is selectively translate their writings for western audience and there is very heavy Baha'i censorship. 10) There is no independent Baha'i Scholarship, all Baha'i texts needs to be approved before publication. 11) Baha'is see all other religions as corrupted and dead. They believe that every religion has a life of 1000 years. There is nothing like "unity of religions" - they believe their religion is superior to all other religions. 12) Baha'is believe that Baha'u'llah is the sender of all prophets, revealer of all holy books and Lord of the Lords! 13) Babis (predecessors of Baha'is) have killed many Muslims in Iran. Baha'is have also killed a few Azalis. 14) Baha'is believe their supreme body (The UHJ) to be infallible, they call it as 'Seat of God'! 15) Baha'i guardian Shoghi Effendi was a closeted Homosexual, he used to spend months in Switzerland with Baha'i money.
This is new information regarding the Baha'i faith.... I was not aware about the essence of this faith...thanx for engaging her in meaningful conversation.

Pointless conversation. China has 14 neibour countries, only 5 borders in disputes, Japan, PH, Vietnam, Bhutan and India, all because of Anglo-Saxon. Taiwan claims the same territaries in disputes, so does Taiwan anti those 5 countries? Those disputes didn‘t exist when Republic of China (Taiwan) was in UNSC, when UN was established. The world recognised Chinese historis borders. At that time, India /PHilipine / Vietnam was not even a country yet.
Corrections, China has 14 land bordered neibour countries, only 2 borders with India and Bhutan are in disputes, Japan, Vietnam & PH are sea disputes.
