I like this pageant better because they don’t encourage little girls to wear a lot of makeup and do stupid pro am. They keep everything age appropriate
This is a semi glitz pageant. There looking for airbrushed photos. And semi glitz pageant girls trained with a full routine with a pageant coach. You may get lucky though and be in novice in a pageant full of novice cause of how small they’ve been recently. Bet your butt though you better have a ton of confidence cause if a glitzy girl arrives on stage she’ll win it all. Just how sunburst is🤷♀️

Is Sunburst natural or glitz. I see this pageant advertised at my mall each year. (I'm in Texas) I wanted to do it as a child but I was in a glitz household.
It's both.
To anyone competing in Sunburst I highly recommend going semi-glitz at all levels.
Depends on your age. For teens and adults Glitz for kids and baby’s natural

I honestly thing this pageant system plays favorites. There were girls that got all kinds of awards and everything and still didn't make it to the top. And the one that got the most awards walked away 4th runner up? My daughter was in a local sunburst pageant years ago and worked her butt off and all she got was a cheap little generic trophy that broke a few days after she got it. And the sunburst director was very rude
I think all activities no matter what, play favourites. You can be the most talented person in the room and still miss out because someone is prettier or has better contacts I personally have never done pageants, but I do know what it’s like to enjoy and work hard to get a place in the top and get told your not good enough and your making a fuss out of something your just not good enough for. When really it’s just they don’t like u and they think because some girls parent is more important than yours they should have whatever will make that parent happy. I’m speaking from experience from a sport I took part in for 3 years before, my parents and I had enough of there bulling.
I did a Sunburst pageant in 2016, it was my first one, and I had gotten runner up even though I had no other rewards. they never gave us a personality paper or a sponsor paper and that made it harder for me to win but I think I had gotten runner up because I smiled and was Audrey Hepburn for the costume.
Beauty pageants are child abuse and you sound like a bitter stage mom.

Hi Emily I have competed for this system when I was younger. Every contestant does receive a crown!! Have a great day❤️
But I would suggest competing in preliminary pageants if your a beginner to the system
