I lost a close friend to suicide in February, there’s very little that makes me happier than getting an opportunity to talk about her. I love talking about who she was, the things that interested her, the things that were important to her. And in all honesty I’m really happy to see that that’s normal for someone who is grieving a loved one.

I am absolutely humbled by the way that Rob deals with grief and the loss of his baby boy. I saw him warming up for his stand up tour in September 2019. And he was extremely funny and most likeable. Henry and his other kids are lucky to have a daddy like him.

Where is this God people love so much? Taking a life of a little baby. It's no wonder people don't believe.

I'd like to say something eloquent about how this made me feel but I can only say fucking hell. How can a Dad move on and be so positive? What a testament to the human spirit that he can make this so profound and intimate that he's being so ordinary amongst other grieving parents.

I feel this Man's pain. Our Daughter was born early at just over 34 weeks. An hour after she was born I had to tell my partner ther our girl wasn't going to make it. By far the most difficult thing I will ever do. My partner nearly died twice after due to trauma. We held our Daughter while she passed and turned from pink to grey. I slept in the car outside the Hospital because I couldn't drive. I remember going home to our son after about 48 hours, who was 3 at the time, explaining that when Mummy comes home she won't be bringing his sister's with her. When my partner came home she was still sick from everything, borderline suicidal. Me and my Son went to live with my parents 4 miles away. I drove back home to check on my partner every 4 hours just to make sure she was still there and hadn't taken her own life. After a week me and my Son went back home, she was still sick. Collapsing at home, not eating, 3 ambulance visits that I remember. Everything this Man said about having some friends come and help is true but I couldn't allow it. My partner was too sick for visitors so I did all these thing while she was grieving. We never got to know our Daughter so the anger for me outweighs the Love. I don't care how I feel, I can deal with it in my head. Maybe when I retire and my job here is done I'll be able to consider grieving. But for now I am furious, furious that my partner did everything right, yet our Daughter was taken and my Son never got to meet his sister. It took 6 weeks for us to be ready for the funeral, I carried our girl from the car to the Church, and then to her grave. Tackle the things you don't want to do, get them done and it will make you stronger. We are all doing well now, it's been a little over 2 years. I think about it all the time and that sick feeling you first get when someone special dies comes back every time. The loss of a child is by far the worst pain, I'm not afraid of anything now.

So rock shedding a tear is more inportant that the story of his son passing. Weird choice for a title. I guess whatever brings in the views.
