I didnt lose a child, but I had a stillborn at 39 weeks. And everyone kept saying, I'm so sorry, let me know if there is anything I can do. And I did appreciate it, but I never knew what to say to them... But please, if you know anyone going through any kind of loss with a child. Please make a key and go in their house and do their laundry, and their dishes, and anything else you can do to just clean up.. I'd never ask, and I'm sure most people going through this wouldn't either.. But it's the best thing you could do. Don't talk, don't say anything. Just do it. They will appreciate it so much, I promise 💜

My son passed away last year from the same a tumour on rear stem of the brain only there was no signs he passed away without us ever knowing why until the autopsy and it has broken me big time I feel your pain.

Speaking as a bereaved parent myself, all we ever want to hear is our child’s name spoken out loud, it’s very hard but we love to talk about them, it keeps them with us. That’s why Rob Delaneys face lights up when he’s asked about his Henry, I bet he could talk about him all day. My advice for anyone who knows a bereaved parent, or ever meets someone that’s lost a child, would be to never feel like you can’t ask about the child. Yeh it hurts like hell but we actually think you’re amazing for asking.
