LG Top Load Wave Force inverter direct drive “LE” error code fix.
Short answer for the fix: it was the hall sensor. Aka, the hall effect sensor that went out. Found a new one on repair clinic.com for $35.

Testing a Smart Car (Fortwo) Blower Motor with a Power Probe

In today's video I do a simple power up test on a Smart Fortwo (Smart car) Blower Motor. The motor is a simple two pole design, one ( ) and one (-) So a power and a ground from the power probe is all you need. Make sure to note which wire colors in the harness feed each spade on the motor and attach power probe accordingly. Enjoy!

NOTE: Do NOT cut the sheathing like I did, just make sure not to touch the adhesive after you pull the plastic back. 1)Remove door card(inner door panel) 2) Pull back plastic sheathing to reveal (3) 10mm nuts (I cut the sheathing because I didn’t want to mess with the tar-like adhesive and it was a junkyard car. Does it make a grinding noise as well?
From what I can remember, no. But it’s been quite awhile since I did the repair.
Kind of the tub spins slowly, stops, and again and again and again and again and shows this error code.
LG washer motor problem. No spin.
locked motor error ..... not balance . it is usually the hall sensor or the harness going to the sensor that is bad .

I washed my sons necklace, I got part of it out but the other part is under that plate thing at the bottom. Is there a way to unscrew that little cap thing in the middle and take that part out from the top or do you do that from the bottom also?

This was exactly what was wrong with my machine. Took me 30 mins and a $12 part off amazon! This video actually ahows how to open and get to the sensor, although that guy is fixing a different part.

You are correct. "If your LG washer displays the LE error code, it could be due to a heavy load, a faulty hall sensor, or a defective rotor." Thank you for the info.

You have to lay the washer on it’s back and remove it from the bottom.
