This was an amazing video! You have no idea how much this helped me understand the whole context. But I have one question, at the end I don't think it was that clear. You ended your proof with illustration which I understand but what about the induction proof? I'm guessing i is the last box. So how do you formally show that if greedy algorithm is better for i-1 then it will also be greater. Sorry I am just a little confused. Can you conclude saying if the assumption holds that for the first i-1 boxes, the greedy algorithm need as many trucks as the optimal. So for the last box i, if there is a place in the truck where box i-1 is in, then greedy algorithm will put it in that truck. On the other hand if the optimal solution can either do the same as the greedy algorithm or try to find a way to maximize thus wait for the next truck. This concludes that the greedy algorithm is just as good or better than any optimal solution. Is this correct?
