Greetings lovely person. I'm your host DZ, the crochet lady. Here is where I share with you the wonderful world of crochet from my point of view. We crochet artists all have a different vibe and personality which shines through in our love of stitches.
Let's journey together and explore the vast, seemingly infinite combination of crochet stitches.
Like our imaginations, our crochet hooks shall know no boundaries. No matter if it's traditional crochet or Tunisian crochet, we will slay.

Thank you!! Thank you!! I learned several new techniques just from this video. Really like this!! ❤
Where can I get one? what is it called? Lastly how much does it cost? I so badly need one, like yesterday!!! 😢....😂😂😂😂 Please someone help me?
Perfect, thanks!
I have to try this out I have down 4 potholders with the thermal stitch I love how thick they are but they take forever & keeping the edges straight is a task 😳
What is the name of this stitch?
it's not really a specific stitch. it's just a stitch combo I made trying different stitches to see what would look good. thank you for watching and asking:) i'm commenting from my new channel @shezcraftzee. on this very new channel i have started to share my knowledge of paper crafting and how to use the amazing cutting machine StarCraft SOLO
Can someone explain why she started with TSS on the second decrease row and not TPS, like on the other rows? I really want to make this and I don’t get that.
The reason we start with TSS on the second right side decrease is because you’re yawning over and pulling through three loops so one of the stitches that you would normally make is not there anymore because you made the decrease. In order to keep the stitch pattern, you have to crochet whatever stitch would be next. ❤
@@thecrochetladyThanks so much! So where do I look to find out what is next if I haven’t been doing the pattern? Is it based on where I ended with the previous row?
You are the best ❤❤❤
Yes!! I experienced the same joy! ❤
@@Gangstaguru 🙌
Nice textured pattern. Pretty ❤
lost me already.
@@LindaBalkin-h8j it takes a few times ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for responding, and respectfully, not enough info for me to even get started, but it looks like it would be fun.
Blessings and crocheting 🧶👋🏾🤗
Wow i absolutely love this. The colour scheme really put a smile on my face 👏
Thank you so much 😀 I appreciate your comment ❤

Hi, Where can I watch the whole video of this tutorial from the beginning please
@@Rabbitoh0966 hi there. If you click on the@thecrochetlady in this shorts video it will take you directly to the long form video.
Cute hat 😊
Very pretty ❤
Thank you DZ! I LOVE this. Appreciate you presentation.
Ooh I got a sentry for Christmas last year and I loooove it! I’m just about to start my own business on Etsy, but with high school at the same time I’m taking it slow!
I love this stitch! 🦋
How many rows did you do before it met in the middle and exactly what does meet in the middle mean.
Very very nice ❤❤❤
Thank you for a great Tutorial on this wide rib stitch!!! Nuff Love x
Just found your channel. Wow I want to make this into a blanket. ❤
@@alisongomes684 thank you. There is an updated version of this pattern in my videos that I uploaded earlier this year.❤️
For the closure I slipped stitched the inside strand of each side(only one strand each side) and at the end before fastening off I chained 8 and then fastened off and weaved in ends. It makes for a flatter and more invisible seam and you don't have to have so many add-ons and fasten off places. Thank you for the awesome video and clear instructions. Now I don't know which I like better; this way to make a pot holder or the thermal stitch. 😄 Thanks again and happy crocheting.
I love how you started at the beginning of doing this pattern. It’s so unique. Where did you ever get this pattern?
Leave the music so that we can hear your voice
Thank you so much. This is what I was looking for. It was clear and very easy with your tutorial.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💐💐💐❤️👍
That is not a tunisian simple stitch. You are picking up the frint loop along with the front bar. With a simple stitch, you only go behind the frint bar on your forward pass. You even have a simple stitch tutorial that fies that. I think this video could confuse a beginner.❤
Hi, I know this is an older video but hoping you can help me with the method one would use to work this in equal rows vs c2c. I made a lovely shawl with this and just love it, so hoping to make a blanket but I would prefer my stripes in rows vs diagonal. Would I just start row 1 all TSS, row 2 TSS/TKS/TRS, row 3 TKS/TRS/TSS, row 4 TRS/TSS/TKS (repeat rows 2-4)? Or does this "stack" the opposite way and I would work row 2 as above, then start on reverse, then start on knit? That's probably confusing but hopefully makes sense. This is a really unique stitch repeat from what I have found - if this repeat has a "standard" name, please let me know!
Hello ❤️ i’m going to have to actually work the stitches to see. I’ll use the stitch combination from your comment and see what happens. Thank you for watching and your lovely comment 🌸
@@thecrochetlady thank you so much for being willing to give it a go! I made the shawl 18 months ago and it left such an impression!
Thank you for sharing❤
I’m having issues at end of rows. Losing stitch count!
This is going to be perfect for crocheting tabards and tunics.
I love this stitch it is very very pretty; your instructions are easy to follow and a joy to watch thank you
Brill and soooo easy thanks
What hook I want to blanket
On Amazon look for cabled bamboo afghan hook. ❤️🌸
How can I turn into a throw blanket and what size hook
Hello and thanks for watching. On Amazon search bamboo cabled afghan hook.
Heaven sent! It is going on the hook now!
ua-cam.com/video/AmW5Zo79Aok/v-deo.htmlsi=fs5rpxFKPW-RioxO Here is an updated version of the same pattern. I hope you enjoy and thank you for watching.
Does anyone know why she doesn't chain at the start of the return pass? I ask because I've been having some tension issues there.
You always have the option to create a chain if that is your preference in crochet. Some stitch patterns I do have a chain at the return pass, but on some I don’t. I learned both ways but just do what’s comfortable for you ❤️
Love that substantial middle. I've always stayed away from the rectangle because of that spindly chain.
Thanks, and glad to share with you.❤️
LOVE this!!! The middle doesn’t turn out wonky!!!❤
Thank you for watching 🌺
This is my ‘go to’ way of starting my rectangle granny afghans!!!❤ I’ve made numerous blankets since first watching this…thank you!!!
@@GreatLakesGal-Diane isn’t it awesome? I’m so glad that you enjoyed it. And thanks so much for watching.!!❤️
Sew not see
Also could you see the "strips" together like to make a throw rug to make it big enough?
That’s a great idea 💡
