It is kind of scary how inside my head you are with almost all of these reviews. The only exception is One Piece. I tried the anime, failed to appreciate it as much as others. So no interest in the live action. But other than that...my opinions perfectly, almost too perfectly, align with your own. That almost never happens. I will say something about Village. For some reason, I kept thinking there was another layer of the film that I was missing. Something that I might "get" if I were Japanese. It was not an awful film, or anything like that.

As someone who got into One Piece from live action I can tell you everything about both. Live action is pretty faithful to the anime (and probably manga but I didn0t read manga) but one thing that it does way better is that it's short and to the point. If you get into anime..well first at start it's really hard to watch but it pays off later. But live action already covered the worst part of anime which is start and again it was to the point. You got 8 live action episodes that pretty much covered 50-60 anime episodes. And let me tell...those fking anime arcs are so draaaaaaaaaaawn out that an arc may start great but goes on for way too long. With fights. In live action fights are just enough but you also gotta take in account that they were trying some stuff out to see what works. If live action keeps it short and sweet as first season...the show will be probably the best thing out there. because what One Piece does really well is tie everything together. That's what I mean by that it pays off later. You could watch live action and continue with anime in LogueTown arc but if you gonna dab into anime...go watch OnePace..it's same thing but it cuts off alot of fat of anime. And anime has alot of fat. Seriously the arcs go for way too long. But plus side is that you can watch one episode after another and not have to wait for however long the anime is going on now. OnePace is run by fans so not all episodes might be out and for that you would need to watch regular anime episodes. Live action is worth a watch...anime is too but that is a real commitment. There is light at end of tunnel for it. Just be prepared for arc to go on for way too long than they need to.

Great minds think alike! Thank you so much for watching the video, I truly appreciate it. I did wonder if the One Piece live action series appealed to non-One Piece fans. But a more condensed version of the story may be better for you than the long and filler based anime series. Regarding the Village, Michihito Fuji's film look so intense that it does make you feel like there is another layer to his films, which is the case most of the time, but that particular movie just didn't do it for me.

The Makanai: Cooking for the Maiko House is a great series a must watch. Do not watch Terrace House Tokyo, the producers drove one of the members of the cast on the show to suicide after they pressured her to act as an antagonist on the show. They were never held accountable and your should support a show who had no care it caused a death.

The biggest mistake Netflix makes is dubbing good films and tv, it's truly awful and it's always crass irritating American voices, I much prefer to read subtitles, I cannot watch the actors mouths doing one thing while an alien American voice says something else.
