    Awesome! I'm gonna have to try this! Will 2 1/10 scale tires do a full set for a mini t?

      @hotdogrocketshiprctechtips4352 Рік тому

      Thanks! One 1/10 buggy tire unfortunately can’t build two mini tires, but I suspect if you were cutting up 1/10 truck tires you could do a 2:1 ratio!

    Nice, reminds me of BITD making 4wd front tires out or rear tires. Pro-Line doesn't make 4wd front square fuzzies, no problem! lol Great work!

      Thank you! One of our current favorite custom tires is using a jcon fuzzbite 2wd front for mini-b 2wd fronts.

    Goddamn man you have more patience than I do lol. There is no way I’m sitting there glueing up 4 tires like that. Awesome idea because you can make your own tires and tread patterns.

    Do these tires work good on loose dirt also?

    • @weylinrose1766
      @weylinrose1766 3 роки тому

      While I'm sure they would work well I would choose a different tread if building custom tires for dirt. There are also good dirt tread tires available from JConcepts, Proline, and Losi, but none make quality treads for carpet (yet).

    Do you think i can put weights in the wheels to keep it on the ground and give it better traction? I want to drive it on dirt mostly so could i also swap the front wheels for another set of the back wheels?

    • @hotdogrocketshiprctechtips4352
      @hotdogrocketshiprctechtips4352 3 роки тому

      You can definitely run rear tires all the way around if you want. It's great the at the 2.0 uses the same wheels f/r. In general if you want to add weight to a vehicle to add traction it's better if it's sprung weight (meaning on the chassis) rather than unsprung weight (on the suspension arm/wheel/tire). However, building custom mini tires like I'm showing in this video usually adds some weight to the wheel because the carcass for 1/10 tires is thicker than 1/18 tires, so there's a small amount of added rubber. From what I can tell it doesn't seem to hurt the performance but it certainly helps it cartwheel like a frisbee! Cheers
