How to replace dry clutch assembly on a Ducati (748 desmoquattro)
Replacing clutch discs, hub, and pressure plate springs on 1999 ducati desmoquattro 748. The bike was not moving forward or stalling when putting it in first gear and letting go off the clutch.

You can make a clutch locking tool out of a steel and a fibre welded together with a handle put on. You can slide it in a lot deeper than the locking bracket tool......

Thanks for the Vid. I probably would have replace the basket as well - you could see some noticeable wear on the basket tangs.
What about the gasket? Did you replace that aswell? The only gasket in the dry clutch is the clutch cover gasket correct?
It's just a rubber re-usable gasket on the dry clutch ducatis... easy job, only think is locking the drum nut, but you can make your own tool using old fibres and old steels and weld a handle to them. I might do a video on how to make, but it's pretty simple once you work it out.
Mahalo Thanks! Very helpful😎
Recently purchased a '64 Impala with 327/250hp version with "power pack" heads. looking for all the information I can find on theses heads. Have a pair of the 300hp double hump heads thrown in with the deal (need to go to the machine shop with those and I hear it can be kinda pricey$$$.
man if you have those power pack heads hold on to them there great! made the mistake of selling a pair for way to cheap
Double humps will flow more, but power packs have a small chamber for higher compression. I think the later power packs had bigger valves.
