Why I will choose an American airline over an European airline

I completely disagree. I don't play "tit for tat" and I don't do things with the expectation of receiving something in return. They are not responsible for the way you see yourself. You are.
You have a fair point. But my point of view is if people see you a certain way and have this wall built, it’s only fair for you to keep yourself behind those walls they have built up and the boundaries they have set for you instead of assuming the way you see your relationship with them is the same way they perceive it
