This song is so great I don't have words to co moment and the musi cans the greatest what a songwriter Bob Dylan is. It takes me back to a time in a better world.

That's a dandy
Interesting, this is a different version than the one released on the album. Or that version was made up of multiple versions
They only played one show. Also, Eric, Neil, and George's vocals (plus both solos) do sound identical as in the released version; meaning the official release is Indeed this one performance, but cleaned up with studio overdubs.
Good that on this video that they didn't block Neil Young's image on his guitar solo. That's disrespectful. It probably was the idea from number one Neil Young's basher, George Harrison. George, when you actually can make a few good albums on your own and not just a couple of good songs, then you might be entitled to bash a god.
the music of Bob Dylan is great performed by those great stars! On another movie I saw Mr Taburinman also great!
my generation..good...the best,,
The best..!
For sure..!!
LOVELY SONG AND LYRICS ! SINGING A REAL MASTERPIECE! LIVE FOREVER BOB DYLAN ❤
One of the greatest achievements for roger mcguinn is the musical arrangement of this song that even the SUPERSTARS followed. Including dylan himself
He is absolutely pissed at GH. See at the beginning how he rushes to adjust the mic stand and misses out on the guitar intro. See him cast a cold glance at GH who he may think has tampered with his mic stand. Just sayin'.
ΠΑΡΤΕ ΚΥΡΙΟΙ ΛΑΧΕΙΑ
What a song, what a band, the title of this song reads more like a Beatles song but no this man Bob Dylan write and song
Lo descubrí durante pandemia de covid y no puedo dejar de verlo: EXCELENTE!!
This is some rock & roll history.
Awesome thanks just like being there
Thanks. I hate the overdubbed Dylan vocal, as it doesn't fit the video
Agree.
Awesome!! To hear the original concert mix live the way it originally was. When the official cd/cassette was released in fall 93, I was disappointed with the mix. Then the remaster version still wasn't good but trying to be satisfied.
Very very cool..
Can't stop watching this it's amazing👏
Also. One of the more profound songs about the human condition I’ve heard!!!
They've dubbed in Dylan's and Young's voices in this edition. People have complained about Harrison's, but we know he was giving 200%.
Sensational. °°°••
What a team. They have taken my breath away. !!!!!!!! Only wonderful, best one. Jesus !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best ones.
But I'm older than that now😭
Let’s hear it for Steve Cropper!
Even better to see me leaning on the stage edge, front row centre... what a night that was...
What the fuck is bob dylan saying?? There’s only so many lines
Haha, Indeed. That's why for the official release he re-recorded his part, with the side effect that on the official video, Bob's audio doesn't match his lips and it looks as if he was badly lipsynching. For the record, his verse is as follows: In a soldier's stance, I aimed my hand At the mongrel dog who teach, Fearing not that I'd become my enemy In the instant that I preach. My existance's led by confusion boats: Mutiny from stern to bow.
ニールヤングのレスポールがカッコ良すぎ!
Totally and absolutely Amazing every time....you are all apostles I swear to God Almighty ❤🙌🙏You are all gifted...not leaving out one of you all...everyone..you all made this work..and the the Guy in grey....you made it Rock....God Bless you all, and George is always there in Spirit...like we all be sooner or later....but the 🎶🎵🪕🎼💿music lived on, and that's for sure..xxx
Who is the guy in the green suit? This is a great song!
G. E. Smith
He did work for Dylan, played lead guitar for Hall and Oats, was music director for SNL, as he was here. In another video of this performance, you can easily see him running around the stage making sure everyone comes in on time, including Dylan.
I guess George doesn't like the way Neil Young plays, too bad Georgie, complain to Eric, see if it changes anything but make you looks bad. This wasn't your show, it's Dylan's. Cry baby cry!
It’s true tho
What makes you say George doesn’t like it?
@@jamesfisher5233 He stated on a video years later when talking to an interviewer in studio, that he never liked Youngs playing and insinuated that on tjius night, It was a mis mash as well as rubbish. He was correct. Claptons playing, tone, phrasing was on another level. In fact, watch Claptons performance of Don't think twice from this concert. It may be Claptons finest playing and solo of his career. He got a standing ovation, as well as the looks on the faces of GE Smith and Cropped. They were in disbelief of how phenomenal EC playing and vocals were, he stole the show.
Who is the drummer?
Jim Keltner
An amazing performance great Star's
Thank you for upload. This is the best! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Such a great concert!! I would have loved to have been at that one. All my faves and to celebrate Bob Dylan!!!
It's interesting to compare Bob's part to the overdub.
Indeed.
Fantastic.
I'm happy to hear this raw version. They were only human after all! The widely seen official release is so cleaned-up, edited, and overdubbed that it made them superhuman live! I used to think "How can they play live so well?!"
These guys were all drunk, high, sleep deprived, or all of the above. A band giving a shitty performance shouldn’t be lauded. Reminds me of the disastrous Black Eyed Peas super bowl half time show.
George did so well.
@@hotwheelsearl This was a jam, not a band.
These guys didn't grow up with "Tuner Apps" on their phones. Hell, we used a pitch fork my brother picked up. Neil was basically "tune once and play all night". And nobody noticed.
Claptons smooth solo, to perfection, Neil's non-technical, but very emotional and awesome as always.. perfect mix.. i love George's voice
EC's guitar music 🎸 is the best ever ❤
Love this unedited version, i always find it now and again. Thank you
Finally, the REAL DEAL!
Ok this Is the real audio thanks
George sounds so good..
Literally can’t understand a word he says
Why is that hambone from SNL there??
G.E Smith is a band leader. You need glue to hold together a diverse and eclectic group like this. Neil and Steve Cropper showing mutual respect and just loving the moment!
GE Smith is “conducting” the group. Cool to watch.
Respect, please.
The best of the best ¡!
Good to see all my favorite musicians on stage together, having a great time together and entertaining the crowd and themselves! 😊👍🍀👌
Mr Neil Young at his BEST !!!
I can’t believe how much the iTunes and other mainstream versions of this have been edited and cleaned up. Amazing to hear it in its raw form!
About time for someone to being this up. Indeed, the performance was quite a mess. Singers miss their cue, the harmonies in the refrain are off, everybody except Neil totally forget to get back for the last chorus and, most hilariously, Bob himself cannot remember one line and just mutters his part. As good as the official release is with the overdubbed corrected vocals, nothing beats the true performance.
Wow! Didn't know till just listening to this version! Quite of bit of editing.
@@jamesfisher5233 did you actually read my full comment? I was in fact defending the live performance and its quirks. My true complain was that they didn't need to overdub the song in the studio and release it as a "live" performance. So YOU get a grip... or learn to read.
@@VeggiePopper I like both versions. Obviously this is superior but the album release also has qualities of its own
@@VeggiePopper For Clapton's solo, they don't sing the chorus as well. But maybe they all planned to join in on the last chorus after Young's solo, and forgot. Or Young decided on a whim to sing the last chrous.
This is the best version. Warts and all. The other versions are tidied up, but this is fantastic. Thanks for uploading. The biggest superband we will ever see. Cheers.
