I honestly believe the RWR option is the most likely. Between NASCAR likely looking to revoke the charter, and Ford probably just being disappointed with RWRs results, I wouldnt be shocked if we see RWR get absorbed by RFK. Haley is a solid driver, their pit crews seem decent, their equipment is getting slightly better, it could be a worthwhile investment for RFK. Brad will likely be out sooner over later, with Chris positioned to be the new "head of the household" in a way, and Haley being positioned to take over the role Chris has as the teams prime driver. Preece will be a solid backbone to bring the 15 up to par with atleast the 51, and I expect him to atleast end up as a ~15th place driver once he gets settled. Or its just gonna be the SHR charter, and we'll have to listen to Denny moan about the agreement not adding more charters or something

Simple solution: Repeat the driver swap that Hamilton and Smoke did at Watkins Glen in 2010. Watkins can be rented out for the test. Sell tickets. Watkins is a former GP track. Run the long course like the F1 boys ran in the 1970s . It’s still there and in great shape. Hamilton loved it there. The old video is all over UA-cam. Fastest lap time wins. Run both a red bull F1 and Larsons Nascar. Betcha they could draw a decent crowd. Id go.

They need to let bygones be bygones. Returning to FRM would be a net win for FRM, Ford and Zane, last year they had no room for him at the time. This way he got a years worth of cup experience on Chevrolet’s expense, the first half of the year was embarrassing and expensive. Going back to FRM now would save money and the embarrassing part is on someone else.

Ford denied Zane Smith, that would be a big dumb move for Ford, if it is True, then Zane Smith can't go to Front Row, RWR or RFK or any Ford Team, could Zane Smith or Front Row go after Ford with a Lawsuit or should Kaulig hold off on the announcement in case if Zane Smith is open because he was denied by Ford and not by Front Row or should Zane Smith or Trackhouse block the charter agreement until they get a 4 car team or could they force both Hendricks & Gibbs to sell one of their Charters each to make even stevens?

While I currently live in Iowa (2 hours from Iowa Speedway), I spent a large portion of my adult life living in the Pacific Northwest (Spokane, Portland, and Seattle). I would love to see a Cup race there, as the Northwest has nothing beyond the Xfinity race. Whether it be a street race in Seattle, a race at Portland, or the Seattle road courses, I think it would be great for NASCAR and the Northwest. Even though I am a Ford guy, Edsel Ford seems to be leading with his ego and not his brain and making bad decisions. Ford said no to Kyle Larson to SHR, which is probably one of the reasons SHR will shut down at the end of the year. Zane has proven he is a good driver and has lots of potential. My guess is that if Zane doesn't get the 34, then it will probably be Burton unless someone else comes out of the woodwork. Also if Edsel Ford is that mad over Briscoe wearing a Toyota logo, could that be one of the reasons why 23XI may not get the 3rd charter? I wondered why Ford allowed charters to go to other manufacturers so easily without much of a fight.

Are we forgetting a few years ago at COTA Ross Chastain wrecked AJ Allmendinger and AlexBowman on the last lap to win ? No penalty, no slap on the wrist, became playoff eligible.. smashed the watermelon 🍉 … looks like it’s a double standard. NASCAR needs a cut and dry rule on this stuff instead of leaving it to themselves to interpret gray areas.. since the only thing nascar is consistent about is not being consistent.
