Chris got the all the goodies for his model which includes the chrome package. Only a few of the cars have the chrome treatment. Hard to get it done and even more expensive.

It’s a 1966 corvette color but he wanted it on his ‘63. It’s a beautiful color, especially with the all black interior. More details on this one later.

Each car has it’s own VIN, manual and custom pen. The manual includes pics and info on that car specific car and it’s owners name.
Good Enough.

This Silver Blue model was repainted as well. The painter nor I were satisfied with the initial turnout. He’s getting the hang of these. I’m looking forward to seeing the Moss Port Green model once he finishes that repaint.
Not Good Enough.

At this scale, small paint flaws are magnified. After the initial paint job and two attempted touch ups, it had to be totally repainted. This is the body before the repainting was done.

Y Harness Reverser for Throttle & Brake Adjustment
Hi nice car what time of break kit used
Front wheel hydraulic disc brakes on a couple of them. The vast majority of the Raco Indy cars have a single brake on the drive shaft.
It is Absolutely amazing, respect!
Dang, thats what Im gonna do except with a smaller scale (same engine size) and a camaro body
Would love a link to your build!
Did you ever test the " Runner " did you gps it?
Unfortunately no. It was purchased before I was able to try. I’m finishing the build for the buyer this winter right after the current build for a friend I’m working on now.
What is the difference between a 327 Conley engine and a 427?
Several differences - Bigger block, heads, pistons, etc…. integrated water pump, visually more appealing as well.
You're insane. But it's a good kind of insane where nobody gets hurt. :) The work is amazing? Does anyone do 1/2 scale v8?
I’m aware of 1/3 scale V8 models but not 1/2 scale.
@@TheMiniCar I'm thinking a 1/2 scale v8 would look cool in a go-kart sized t-bucket.
Your music is fine but I'd rather hear the engine.
I accept that. The engines will be the focus of the sound when they are being featured going forward. Thanks.
I bet an action figure could fit in that
I've seen one complete and running AMAZING
Cars look amazing Ed, nice job.
Thanks man. I’m glad they are both shipped out to their owners!😂
These cars are really something else. I have no idea how you basically make a small corvette. So, do you build these cars for people? And if so, how much would one cost?
I have built a few for people and am finishing up a couple now. Going forward I’m only selling the kits. The time involved in bringing one of these together is a lot. I love the hobby. I love my family time more.
Cool cars, about 35 years ago i had a stadium truck, NASCAR car and dune buggy/ Rock Hopper i think it was called. All Raco it was the shit back in the day. Wish i still had them. Thanks for sharing your cars.
One day i will try to get stinger 609, since today this is one of my dreams
Nice one. Is Gary still making and selling these? I thought he sold up the shop and retired.
He sold, retired from mass run production and moved to TX. He's doing well.
I could barely make a full size blown big block run, much less one that size!
I totally understand the sentiment! His work is worth the hype for sure.
Very cool those things look awesome! Are these the Australian versions? Next video, V8 noises!
Both the original Conley’s and the clones/Australian engines are displayed. The clones are shoe at the end. Will get a sound video up soon.
Are the conley engines in production again?
No. Gary is retired from making engines. There are Conley clone engines still being made. I’m not affiliated with them but I have purchased some of their engines. Here’s the link. www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?sid=quarter_scale&isRefine=true&_sop=16&fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAaZmCOo__8T8EqwcbGl9dhGaNKWZT915e27uaxT7tPCxqQuflNX6KmZaHbc_aem_AX7qzOsVCmIge8qdXInmaNNsXlGh0_8YcgQfo0pNaQMYYlxM65J6NEnCOSui_5t9UQlJy8B2JdAUUcwDet_j6mjM
Yeah sadly Gary retired and sold the business. A front sent his 427 into the new company to copy to get the production going again but as of today, they owners have yet to produce anything. My fried has a dozen Conley engines. Some of his prototypes and we need some parts so hopefully the new company will start production soon. He has 2 of the clones and they have their issues. Biggest so far is the pushrod and rocker geometry. I had to modify all the rocker stud shafts to get the max rocker arm travel out them. On both, the rocker arm will hit the pushrod guides and not allow the lifter to be pushed all the way in its bore. And both engine wiped out their camshaft and lifters with very little use.
@@jdsstegman that really sucks to hear. I'm going to buy one soon and hopefully start milling improvmemts
@@jacobguthrie6973 so far both head gaskets have blown, 2 snapped rods, crank snapped between cylinder 2 and 3 and wrecked the block, wiped out camshaft and all the lifters, the pushrod and rocker issues, 2 burt out ignitor. So far that the lis on an engine on a stand towing nothing with about 1 and a half hours of run time. I'm new to these and I don't own one. My friend is also a friend of conley's. He even has a conley v8 with an overhead cam with a timing belt made from a stock block and heads. It's really cool. He even has the 427 engine that was on the TV show Tool Time. He has had all his conley's for years and runs they almost daily. And sure, they have has their issues but noting like the Australian clone. They are not even comparible except in look and they are both v8's.
@@jdsstegman what rpm was they turning them when all that happened? Maybe over revved them?
Sweet!
Buddy you should create a Mini car show. How much to build me 68 Ford Mustang ?
Thank you for the love. The Mustang is indeed one of the cars on my list. I’m finishing a couple more Corvettes, Daytona and GTX cars for some friends first. They are time consuming and expensive. Send me your email and I will send you some information. edosan3@gmail.com
Fantastic work! What 3D printing process did you use for those parts?
I used SLA for the chromed parts. Going forward I’m considering just using metal for all the chromed parts. Chroming so many small parts for such low runs is not the best option cost wise.
Damn, so cool
Thank you.
Just wow. Incredible. Theyre works of art.
Thank you.
Absolutely amazing working. All your hard work has paid off. What’s your next project going to be?
I’m working on a Mopar build with friends for a close buddy of mine. Will post a couple videos of that build. His is a Pro Street Superbird. I’m building a modified GTX for myself as well.
Before this explodes, I wanna make sure you read this: You're one of the very few who build cars in such a scale while making sure they're as realistic as possible. I look up to you mate!!! Cheers from Germany, Lucas
Thank you. They are a challenge to build.
@@TheMiniCar beautiful , I would like to see a 1965 Ford Mustang Hardtop some day
Fantastic. 👍
Can I buy one of these?
I sell them as kits now. edosan3@gmail.com for info.
I'd love to know where you purchased that fuel pump for the gallon can holder.
Amazon
Otherwise I'll supercharge a Stihl 4mix
Yo dude, do you think you can get a Traxxas udr or losi 2.0 1/6th to 70mph basically scale. figure in a 2 speed tranny on button
I don’t know those cars but that sounds cool.
Do you build for people
Yes but I’m winding that down. I’m finishing 5 builds for folks now however I primarily just sell the kits to folks.
Cancel one but I'm a Pennzoil car fan anyway
I’m Pennzoil fan as well. Cancel what?
Sounds so nice I would love to have one of these in my life.
I know the feeling! If you are a builder or know one that will help you, order a kit. It’s a lot of work and so satisfying to see the final result. 😤😉
@@TheMiniCar I've built many nitro rc cars and real cars so sure I could do it. I have mates to engineer parts, just the engine price is a bit expensive for me.
This be perfect for a squirrel
That is cool! Love it
Beautiful build! Love your work!
Dumdasses, that's a '63 not a '61
It’s a shame Small Walker is no longer with us. He would have been the perfect pilot for this machine. RIP Little guy 😢
Ed did you run the car ? Any good results?
Got pulled away by my kid’s band and a few other builds!! More coming soon…..
Hello, where can i buy such wheels?
Metal Hobi. They are located in Turkey and have a website.
Well done
So freaking cool. Absolutely love every minute of it.
if only it was a "stingray" to go with that conley "stinger"... each to their own, but i was never a fan of the original 63 corvette. gimme the 73 stingray any day...
I’m a C3 fan as well. It’s up next…. Stay tuned.
Very nice. How to contact??

Amazing
I'd love to have one if it didn't cost as much as the real thing. But I'd love to see a wide open run once just to see what the performance is like
Me2! Seriously Mark, I have aways planned to do an all out speed run and hope to get to it in the spring 2024. Crazy full plate.
That’s dope!!!!
I feel a Prince song coming on...
Will you make any more that one can buy? Do you have a email ?
