I have been cheated on before, so right away I was like no, break up. But then (since I am more mature and older now), sure...Tae told me about it. But also Jimin confessed himself (not trying to deny the thing at all), crying videos showed that he was sorry and he really regretted it. Sure it hurts....I even felt this knot in my throat while Jimin was telling about the bar stuff. But.... I would give him a second chance, I am not saying that it would be that easy. He would need to gain my trust again. And I would tell him that this was your first chance. There will not be a second chance. And would give him a long lecture of this whole situation. And I would feel somewhat better, knowing that the rest of the guys would look after Jimin and also after me....and would report to me if anything would ever happen again. And will also give him hell for hurting me like this. (When it happened to me in real life, the guy would deny deny deny, he never did anything like that and would be mad at me for accusing him of stuff like that. But after we broke up, I would hear from people what he did and he was very bold....not trying to hide it at all)

I would try to start anew and look whether my trust in him can be renewed. I don't want to start off where we left but would want to have a completely new relationship. If he truly loves me and still felt he needed something in this situation than the relationship like we had it before seems to have to be changed. I don't mean it in the sense of "if he cheated you had to have not given him what he wanted so he got it somewhere else". He is at fault here because he didn't communicate enough so this time around he better work on that.

I would get to the point, sometime in the future, where I’d forgive him so I don’t have all that baggage weighing me down. I wouldn’t EVER get back together, nor be friends with him. Alcohol doesn’t bring out something in a person that isn’t already there inside. Giving a second chance to someone doesn’t always mean that second chance is with you. Sometimes it means an opportunity for the offender to reevaluate themselves, and make the conscious effort to correct and improve who they are at their core, so they can avoid hurting the next person. Saying “sorry” is just words unless there’s a contrite spirit, repentance, and corrective actions to go along with it. Many times an apology is forced by the demands of someone else (i.e. a parent), or the person’s only sorry they got caught.
