First of all, I wish you get well soon. I also bought a Sena 10c camera. It is quite expensive and there is no chance of changing it when it malfunctions, and when you change the battery, it must be of the same code and voltage. Otherwise it becomes waste. I agree with you, I will never buy Sena prodocks too👍
@@ltunbicak it is a piece of junk IMO , and not worth the money, sure if it was half the price i would buy it again, but it isn't..
really nice place ... beauty of nature!!! thank you very much.. with my dream bike 310GS......🙏
@@kbtiwari7387 thank you , it is Garmin zuno xt (not xt 2)
@@kbtiwari7387 its is pretty in Norway, i love riding there , well my friends 310gs died , the engine blow up,😂 i my self, sold my 411 and bought the 450 instead, and i am pretty happy with that one
@@moistyfeet Great!! Thank you very much for the video.. I am from NEPAL.. the Himalayan country of south Asia and the country of Mt. Everest.
@@kbtiwari7387 that's s nice place you live , I want to go there one day
@@moistyfeet Great and wish your plan may success!! welcome here in advance!!
It's an amazing bike , and I did take it down in Africa 😁,
Wow, that's a lot of $$$, or Kr. I got the standard rack, made up a frame and bolted to the rack, and now I can quickly mount and unmount my Nelson Riggs panniers.
Weel it was not that expensive, givi is pretty cheap, and i will fit the same setup to my new Himalayan 450 😊
Nice job, thanks for posting.
Thank you 😊
Dziękuję za film. Mam pytanie czy te sakwy można montować na oryginalny stelaż dedykowany do himalayana. Pozdrawiam.
Nope they can't duo to the givi lock
Good video! Could you tell me what handguards you have installed? Brand and model? I'm looking for some and I like those! Thanks
Sure , it was the cheapest one i could find , so its pretty much like these here on Amazon, I might think you can get them cheaper on eBay but here is the link www.amazon.com/JFG-RACING-Motorcycle-Universal-Handguards/dp/B0773DRLKT/ref=mp_s_a_1_8?keywords=motorcycle+handguards&qid=1702232638&sr=8-8 well not exactly like them but almost, and yup I have crashed with them snd there still on the bike
Many thanks. Super useful. Just did mine. A bit fiddly, but pretty straighforward after watching your video. 🙏
why are we waiting for you to open the unit, you could have taken the screws out pre video, they've sold a lot and not many come back but I guess people just love to moan
I have had this unit open 10 times, and the first times i was cleaning it inside, it was rusted and has water damage, and I moan because I reached out to Sena and they didn't help me at all , so never ever sena again
The 10c evo is absolute shit, maybe it does work when you use 5 days a year but if you use on regular basis is crap find diffrent
Hope to see more, don't like shorts.
There will be more , I just need to edit the video ☺️
I just spend the weekend at a RE Himalayan event here in Brisbane Australia, all paid for by RE. We were 14 riders taking the Himalayan through its paces. Camped Saturday night, big bon fire, plenty of beer. They were shooting a promotional video, they do this every year. Anything like that in Denmark?
That sounds great, I am alitle jealous 😁and yeah we do have that in Denmark, but it's more common in Sweden to do that , and that's why we go there
@@moistyfeet ua-cam.com/video/0lDBODb8TZE/v-deo.html
Are you a member of any RE Facebook? Can't post pictures here.
No sorry I am not
What are your thoughts on these tires after having them now for awhile? Also, how many miles, if you remember, on your stock CEAT tire before you replaced it? And why did you replace it?
The Metzler are really good tire's, they grib fantastic in Loose ground, and are okay on tarmac, but (always a but) they lastet for about 10000 km wich i think is okay because I had the bike loaded all up with stuff , .. the ceat tires are a good low-cost tire , and the back tire didn't last more than 6.000 km , before it was blank.. right now I am trying some Metzler tourance tire , they are not as noisy as the Metzler enduro but should be more for roads
@@moistyfeet Thank you for the prompt reply. 10K km is a decent tire life. That is good to know. I was looking at Mitas e-07+ tires but was reading a lot of feedback on issues with bead sealing. So I started to look at other options. Looks like the Metzeler Enduro 3 Sahara would be a great alternative then. So you went with more road oriented tires now. Interesting. I want to keep the bike ready for going into trails and a bit of off-roading (light off-roading, nothing too serious). So I would like a tire that can do both road and off-road.
@@Wachuko-1 well don't get me wrong, the tourance tire are doing off-road well but not as good as the endure Sahara one , duo to the big nobs on the Sahara 😁 , but I am going to Norway and Sweden in June so I will go off-road with the bike 😃
Just replaced the stock rear on mine. I very much understand the relief expressed when finally getting the valve stem back through the wheel. Took me forever but your video helped a ton. Thanks!
He he yeah it's not easy
I missed the reason why you had to take it apart and stuff it in a box for shipping... was that explained somewhere?
It was due to faulty fuel pump, and i didn't want to spend a month waiting for new pump from India while I still had warranty on the bike , so I just made the decision to take it back home
@@moistyfeet Got it! The dealer was great by providing a replacement fuel pump under warranty with the bike apart!! I will be getting a spare fuel pump and take it with me on my trips. Just for the peace of mind. Enjoying the videos and catching up with all of them.
@@Wachuko-1 yeah it was no problem , i just packed the tank with the pump and gave it to the dealer and they replaced it, remember the hole Fuel pump with assembly is around 1000euro yes you read right 1000euro
@@moistyfeet a 1,000 euro!!!! That is insane! I ordered a factory fuel pump assembly from India. It was around US$120.00 shipped! Anyway, glad to see your bike back together and alive!! Looking forward to the next videos! Enjoy your next trip. Cheers!
@@Wachuko-1 yeah but , when you order in Denmark it's almost 1000euro , which is stupid, I also ordered just the pump from eBay , just to have a spare
Hi, great video. I will ask what is the diameter of the square on valve adjustment? 3 or 3.5 mm. Thanks.
I just got my Himalayan, looking forward to ride it around Brisbane.
It a great bike, so do enjoy it
Carlsberg is not nice beer,,just stating a fact...
That was the best icecream I never saw.😋
Ha ha ha yeah well imagine the ice-cream
Følger du "For the love of wheels". Henriette.
I love it when you seed the vidoe up, it's like the himalayan has a turbo fitted to it! Really funny! Who is the band playing at 7: 20 mins?
He he yeah Himalayan with turbo could be fun 🤣, hmm the band , i have no idea , i think i found that on the free UA-cam music list
Are you going to tell everyone that the real reason you paid more for shipping than the value of the pile of parts was that you could not leave Africa legally without taking the bike with you?
Say what ??? , The bike is like a friend, you don't leave a friend behind, when he is hurt 😅 it has nothing to do with legally leaving Africa , beside that , the bike can stay in Africa if you have a carnet . And the part that I needed and the waiting time(time os money) would have cost more than the shipping cost
Got to be worth £50 ✨️
He he he yeah , well now it's worth gold to me
are valve measurments in metric or imperial?
It's in metric

Hi Ishmael
Here from Ride the Bean !
Thank you for joining 😊
I was there when you lost your gopro in Diama, we all put our hands in the mud trying to find it but that day was really hell😒
He he yes it was hell , but it was great and fun 😅
Hi Chris, when you took that bang on the tank, we were together in the western sahara and you fixed it with duct tape.... do I remember correctly? You are great!🙂
I have painted the tank now , and the bang is still there , i enjoyed every moment on the trip , and had a great time with you
I am still using the original Sena 10C. Their very first camera communication system. Not sure how old it is now, but I had to spray the connections with WD40 as the speakers would randomly stop working due to corrosion and I only get 20min of recording from the camera system. I used to get 2 hours. I still use it as a Bluetooth intercom, but I never use the camera anymore, which is the reason I bought it in the first place. Even though I still have a SMH10R and SMH10 which have served me well for many years, I wouldn't buy Sena again either.
Yeahh its just a piece of overpriced junk .. i should have returned it right away.. but hey.. lesson learned
Well it isn’t waterproof to begin with, so there’s that….I haven’t had any issues with mine and have totally enjoyed them.
Going on 5 years with my Sena 10C EVO and zero issues, riding in rain etc. It's NOT a dedicated "action" camera. Video recording has to do with the recording setting such as 1080p x 60 fps etc.. AND your micro SD class and size card.
Will be actually nice to see it put back together & some tlc
He he yeah , I just need to find time , but it will be done soon, I just shipped the fuel pump to a re dealer and getting it replaced under warranty
Same problem on my 2022 What grease did you use thanks for the video
I just used any grease I had laying around , including regular oil

Hi ! Just reach 600km on mine and same problem. Did you have to remove the rear wheel and disconnect the shock linkage to loosen the swing arm shaft ?
Hi, No i just removed the the plastic cover and loosend the nut , thats all i did .. i havnt had any issue since that , BUT dont loosen to much .. just alitle ..
Same issue been solved by changing swings arms bush as been 4 & half year BS4 now no issues 😊
Hello, Do you still have your old bent PL9050? I was interested in the Kappa K-venture panniers - they apparently fit the PL9050, but not the new PL9054. I was wondering if it was worth buying the PL9050 and then modifying it, since I may want to fit other luggage options in the future...
Hi, Yeah i still have the old pl9050 , but i dont see the diffrent other than the way it mounts to the frame on the the himalayan ,, the way the bags locks on is just the same , so if the pl9050 fits the kappa , the pl9054 should to .. ( i cant confirm it , i dont have the kappa system) , And i think the pl9054 is mounted stronger onto the frame than the pl9050 is , on the luggage rack
Thank you for the quick reply! I will get the PL9054 rack if that is the case. The Kappa K-venture series is essentially the Givi outback series which mounts on the Monokey system. Kappa is Givis budget brand, and have many near identical items. Thanks again and safe riding!
@@Kanadouli Your welcome, and i didnt know that , with the kappa , but looking at it it looks pretty good so i do understand that you want them .. I was just thinking the same of buying them , but iam going on a loong trip from denmark to south africa on the himalayan , and the trip is way out of my budget already he he so i just keep the grt720 canyon for now ;-) and save the money
Hi! Did you like the tyre? How it's been off road?
They are perfect off-road, soft and grippy , yes I like them
I just finished my 300-mile service on my new Himalayan. You video was one of a few that I watched in order to ready myself for that service. The hardest part for me was removing and installing the gas tank. The valve check and adjustment was pretty straightforward. Now, once the snow melts (again) I can do some more riding! Thanks for sharing your expertise in the video.
Thank you for your warm comments 😊 yeah that fuel tank is not easy , but I guess if we do the adjustment many times we get better at it 😂
@@moistyfeet Practice, practice, practice.
@@ScooterintheSticks he he yes your right, by the way , from August iam taking the royal Enfield Himalayan on a looong trip again , going to Africa , so I can't wait to see how it does in sand and really bad roads
@@moistyfeet Wow! That is a long trip. Are you riding there or shipping the bike? Either way, what an adventure.
@@ScooterintheSticks iam riding from Denmark to South Africa , and then I make a decision on what's next , last year I was from Denmark to North Cape in Norway on the bike , and I just got the bike when I did that trip 🤣
Yes, same issue too. Thanks for that!
