Trovaire is a production duo of multi-instrumentalists Dennis Gascoigne and David Ryan. The pair might be better known from Australia's earlier era of electronic live acts on the rave and festival circuit, but in recent years have retired to a remote country town, building a custom studio facility on a sprawling 500 acre farm. That time and space has been filled with instruments both vintage and modern, and a visiting cast of international collaborators that appear on this, their debut album, named after a local bar and their frequent late nights digging through the trip-hop, world beat, downtempo and eclectic music that inspired them.

Accidentally wrote a song from a thrift shop find...
This is Spring Unwind. I ended up making a really lovely song with just a $5 instrument. Feel free to use it for anything zen and beautiful.
The name came from 2 things. First it feels to me like early spring as things bloom and stretch out as they grow, but it also has a real musicbox clockwork feel. If you like it, please let us know and share the video. We would love to hear from you. I like it a lot, but think releasing it to streaming would confuse everyone with what we are about as it's pretty left field :).
