@@brewerlarkin6219Good question: tillers are fine but all the weight of you the motor and batteries is in the last three feet of the boat, and you have to twist your back all day to steer, the center console allows for all the weight distribution to be centered while driving, and also a great feel for the pilot as they can stand up while under way. Also the stern is now available for a fisherman to stand and cast from anywhere on the rear deck, cheers!!🙂

I got the 6x8 rolls(have used it on several boats) from home depot, glued it with Henry outdoor carpet adhesive, I also used 3m spray glue where the corners meet because its fast drying, sometimes on these resin encapsulated plywood decks itll need a reglue in a few spots, usually on the edges, after a few uses so Ill do an update then to address if it does but thats easy to do since all the decks are quickly removeable, cheers!!

Hey thanks Phil! Its been a lot of fun building it! This one actually is an all welded hull, I had a riveted one years ago and it would always end up with water in it at the end of the day, so I avoided getting another until they made them more affordable. This is a new model from Tracker this year to replace the riveted ones, the hull and trailer were a little over $3000, so its become fairly affordable, but youre right the wider and longer ones are crazy money still.

@@DCFloridasport we had a bad leak offshore years ago and stayed fishing because the huge bilge pump just kept up until I could jump in and pack the leak with underwater epoxy
