Interesting video!
That’s ‘Nazi’ aerospace engineer Werner Von Braun to you.
The Japanese one I could look at for hours. Why's Russia a dog? It's so silly, I love it. I also like how you put enough to stay interesting and look at without pausing. Keep it up, I love this!
Thank you! :) Glad you enjoyed the video! If you’re interested, you should check out the others! - Canned History
@@CannedHistory Sure will. Thank you!
WEAK LEADERS !!!!!!!!!!
O.K.
Really interesting
The knight templar never ended
Stones should have played Woodstock , instead they went on to play at the Almont Festive a decision that would haunt them fore the rest of their lives- a total disaster filled with violence including the Hell Angels knocking out the lead singer of the Jefferson Airplane Marty Balin and the stabbing death of 18 yr old Meredith Hunter who flashed a hand gun in a fight with a Hells Angel. complete opposite vibes of Woodstock
Jetro tull
Oops
Joni Mitchell tamed the beast. A single woman with her voice and instrument. That was an incredible performance.
Very interesting
Very Interesting
It's about time that the moody blues got the credit that they deserve.
We agree! Criminally underrated!
I've used cobwebs to stop serious bleeding, works a lot better than you would think
Haha! Interesting!
Taste and Mott the Hoople were the stand out performers
Loved it, for me the Who were outstanding although the Lovin Spoonful guy I think it was John Sebastian entertained 700k people for a whole afternoon when some acts didn’t turn up, he even got Jerry Garcia up for a number.
By all accounts Jimi Hendrix didn’t perform well at IOW. How you could leave out Taste who were called back for 5 encores is baffling.
Chicago
The Who.
I really dug music back then man. Are you hip ?
Len and the Army. Great performance all available on dvd.
What about Jethro Tull?
Poland map is false, that map is Lithuania and Poland Commonwealth
PLC can be shortened to Poland. It was mostly Polish anyway.
Free!
I think Taste, Free, Chicago, Cactus and Ten years. After were the 5 best. It's my opinioni.
There was never a better performance than Jethro Tull at Wight ‘70. They weren’t on drugs, no eccentricities (I don’t consider Anderson’s wild man behavior as such), musicianship and sound qualities were on perfect point, their songs were superb. Edit: ok, not sure about the drugs but at least they weren’t gorked out like Morrison & Co.
I didn’t really know that fun story great video❤
Well, I am glad that you placed The Who at #1! (My all time favourite rock band - I saw them live in Vancouver, BC; summer '89.)
Yes, probably my favourite performance by the Who!
at 4:28 I mistakenly said "The Machine" instead of "The Machine Gun" when referring to one of Jimi Hendrix's songs! Apologies for this error! - Canned History
North Korea is the largest prison population in the world second is Palestine
And the French wonder why no one likes them.....😮😮😅
fake news? was UA-cam and facebook around then
No, don't think so haha! :) But we felt the term "fake news" was a good way to emphasise that misinformation (as a political tool) has been used for centuries! - Canned History
O.K.
Taste
Absolutely
How could you forget Emerson, Lake&Palmer?! Their performance was explosive & revolutionary!
An amazing performance! Similar to Jethro Tull (and a few others) we had to make some hard decisions over who to include! They were definitely in the mix though!
Jethro Tull.
Love Jethro Tull! They were very close to being included!
My first outdoor concert, my first time camping outdoors. Too many jewels to pick a crown. Memory of a lifetime.
Wow that's amazing! Thank you for sharing :) - Canned History
@@CannedHistory I went to see Jimi Hendrix as my music hero, sadly he died not long afterwards. One iconic moment was 10 Years After who played a great set in the dark with cannabis smoke so thick all you had to do was breathe.
@@Anthony-tn6mu So lucky that you saw Hendrix live! Would definitely be high on my concert bucket list!
You mean machine gun. From Hendrix
Yes! My mistake! Apologies
Too expensive man, I am not paying £3 to see all those mega stars.......
Lol!
That's right brother, music should be for the people and completely free.
Jethro Tull?
They were very close to being included!!
The Isle of Wight Festival (1970) had some amazing performances! Who would be on your top 5 list? Comment below with your choices! - Canned History
The WHO
The Band, but also love The Doors, are my 2 favorite bands from back then. Like Moody Blues and The Who. Before I got into rock I was heavily into jazz, so of course I like Miles Davis.
Kinfolk
Excellent. 🎉.
............
Hi, wow, really interesting!
Glad you think so!
Hes more beautiful than most people❤
He found it funny, but it was actually an insult by leftist Hollywood. Reagan got the last laugh as he turned out to be one of the best Presidents in American history.
O.K.. 🎉.
