Left hand?
yup!
did montypresso make the fretboard darker in time? I understand it looks "darker" in the video but to be fair whatever wood conditioning oil you apply to the fretboard will result in an obvious darker fretboard
yup it stains it, so it darkens it permanently, you can leave it on a little longer or do multiple applications to stain to your taste
Ah brother you gotta teach me some licks tips for this particular track, awesome job🎉😎💪
thanks man! It's all pentatonic, you can slow the vid down with the playback speed button to figure some of em out, that's always a good trick haha
@@MichaelLangsnerMusic yeah for sure, I subbed 😎🫶. That’s where you see the difference between a player like me (8 months and not too shabby) and you, in my eyes a pro.
@@goosdonders6911 haha appreciate that! I post way more on IG @MichaelLangsner, but will try to put more stuff here too.
@@MichaelLangsnerMusic will check it out man! 💪💪
@@MichaelLangsnerMusicI sent you a message on IG, and of course followed 😎💪
What product did you use to condition the fretboard?
It's called Montypresso from Monty's Guitars!
Nice! Could listen this type of jam for hours!!!
Thanks man, appreciate that!
@@MichaelLangsnerMusic My pleasure!
Nicely played!!
Thanks man!
Custom shop means it came from the custom shop lol
And a bone nut… and you are there
yup! Nut is important, I put a TUSQ XL on it too
How stupid
Made it there own ,sim but dif,Jimi would dig it
thank you!!
Who knows???
You are not gonna anywhere near close to custom shop playability without changing the nut.
did that too!
Drake Bell is a man of many talents
🤣 second Drake Bell comment I got this week!
Way to rip that shit. Jimi would dig your free expression. Who Knows is one of my favorite Hendrix jams. Stay Groovy 🎸
Thank you!!!
Not good at all, the Randy Hensen Who Know's verson sound much better.
a great backgroud to play lead on
👍
No ja, das Original ist aber länger und besser als 😉
I don’t know what that was but it definitely wasn’t who knows by Jimi Hendrix
It has the rift from the song
Agreed. Check out a UA-cam video by a girl named Sima Bustami for her version . She nails it !!
My manz set it off
😂 thank ya!
This is good, but it doesn't sound like Who Knows. It's reminiscent of John Mayer though
Very nice
thank you!!
if you are left handed you have to turn the strings around
why haha?
@@MichaelLangsnerMusic jimi Hendrix style😁
Nice tone Bro
Thank you!!
Amazing playing. Some Frampton vibes in there
aw thanks so much haha!
Wonderful solo bro🔥
Thank you!!!
One of best renditions of Who Knows on the tube. 👏 Bravo…..Stay Groovy
ahh man, thank you so much, really appreciate it!
@@MichaelLangsnerMusic amazing
This is Proof that so many talented people exist in our world!
aww thank you, much appreciated!
that's great👍
thanks!!
❤️ Awesome ❤️
thank you!!
AWSOME!!💪✌🏼
Thank you!!
This is pure flames. Just wish you had the octave up on 11 snapping on that solo
hah appreciate it!!
amazing! \m/
Thanks!!
Wow...
Nice cover Michael! sounds amazing. Would you be interested in performing live on Sessions? We sent you an Email, let me know if you got it.
This is actually good stuff - soloing through the entire track.
Nicely done. Is this pre-VO?
Very soulful, like a cry in the night for justification.
did you make this up yourself?
Love the intro brother!
What effects are you using?
hey man by chance do you have tabs from your version of the intro? im so damn close its just about the last part of the intro i cant find on how to do haha but again like i commented 2 days ago fuckin jams
thanks man! I don't have tabs unfortunately, but I'm sure you'll get some with a quick google search - it's a pretty popular song for guitar. Between that and watching the video you'll get it.
Jammin dude
Awesome job
How did you got the fuzzy tone? I imagine it is just leaving the wah open, looks to sutile to be a fuzz pedal
no wah, just the tone knob rolled all the way back
You did a good job nailing the tone.
nice to see most of the playing in box 1 or however you want to see it but consistantly doing little changes so it doesnt sound to repetative and even some of it did but it wasnt in a bad way and it sounds good, it lets me realise how sometimes its better to work with the simple stuff first and do little licks or even repetatuve ones instead of aimlessly trying to go all over the neck
i want to know how to do this. i'm an aspiring guitarist and i want to record myself through the computer but i don't know how i'm crying right now please help me. :(
+Anima There's a bit too much to write out in one comment - the main thing you'll need to record into your computer is an audio interface. Do some google searches for "Home Studio Setup" and you'll be on the right track. good luck!
that's a step! thank you!
HELL YES. You brought me to tears man. Bravo.
+Travis Hyma thanks Travis!
I Love this. The Right Guy!
nice tone
