Great job! I have owned 6 Scotties and 1 Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. I started watching your video and noticed the legs in the background and it was a Wheaten! My Wheaten named “Winston” loved his “Uncle Duncan” and took him walking on a leash in the house, one time. I am a retired groom shop owner and AKC handler. Did you have 10” curved thinning shears? If so, what a wonderful new tool to me! ❤❤❤

I 2 have a Scottie. I regularly have her trimmed every 6-8 weeks. She will be turning 4 this summer and I find having the long hair around her mouth as well as on the lower 1/2 of her body is abit too much. She loves to roll in the snow as well as the grass. Having snow balls in winter and worrying looking for the stickers of the different grasses and insects that can climb on board in spring, summer and fall is for me abit over whelping. Not even to say brushing, combing parting the hair looking for thoes dam insects is hard on her as well as me. So this spring I decided to have a trim all over like the length on the back and this is very liberating for both of us. I know she's a Scottie, cute as ever and we can invest in more outdoor walks without as much worry.😊❤

OMG, a reincarnation of our dear angel Walter. He was our first wheaten Scottie. Our first 5 Scotties were dark brindles, photos always were terrible. Now we know our photos are of dogs! We have a cream Scottie and a cinnamon, often called a red, Scottie. Love the wheaten colors, but notice they are not popular in the show ring st Westminster Kennel Club dog show.😢

Not happy with usin those sharp scissors around the dogs eyes plus the cut is ugly for such a beautiful dog. You need to take lessons from a Coton breeder

I’ve had dogs for many many many years & never ever dealt w/butt issues, regular vet visits & nothing about their butts. About 3 years without a dog, I ended up adopting a senior dog from a county dog shelter & 3 months later I took him to the groomers (2nd time) & his anal gland was ruptured. The groomer said it is hard to see with him since he’s small & his tail doesn’t expose his butt. So we took him to the vet the next day. And after they shaved his area, then it was easier to see. So hopefully it heals up because he’s old and the risk of having to do surgery under anesthesia is risky.

You are not giving this Coton the correct grooming cut. It is a Coton de Tuleur, not a Shih Tzu. This is a terrible cut!

I know this is the correct way to groom the airedale, but personally, I prefer breeds such as the Airedale, Lakeland and Welshie with their coats left slightly longer and beard a little shorter.

I have had Scotties for 45 years and been to many groomers over the years, but have never had one shave all the hair off the neck before. Otherwise a beautiful job.

Doodle have enormous beautiful hair. It would be outstanding if adults had that king of healthy hair on their heads. Beautiful dog.
