I don’t recall this ceremony when I was in. (81-93). Very cool tho! Basically we had a “hail and farewell” party that usually ended up with a circle back the following morning to pick up stragglers… Lol

I vaguely remember going here when I was like 3, a few years back. I haven’t been here in FOREVER, and sure urban air and airborne extreme are fun: but I remember it being really cool, like multiple stories cool! DEFY is pretty cool too.
