Privatised water bills became huge, we were told this was to update the systems and create cleaner rivers and beaches. Instead they took the money and gave it to shareholders leaving the infrastructure to rot.

If you increase the population you need more infrastructure. Whilst we all know how beneficial culturally and economically our migrant population is to us unfortunately they do use the toilet. As most migrants we are told are doctors, nurses and engineers these problems will soon be resolved with their great skills and knowledge so we can have an infrastructure that is similar to those of where these migrants originated from. You can measure the density of a population by the amount of sewage it produces

The government have no shame and that's a fact as we the people already know

Its no use lecturing the Tories on this, who exactly was it that supported the policy of selling off our public assets in order to get their hands on a few grubby pounds, yep the working classes of this country. Now many of these same people are complaining and want to take back control, high energy prices, water companies that only care for profits, rail and energy infrastructure all sold of and much of it now in foreign hands and even in state owned foreign hands at that.

It costs less to pump shit straight into the rivers than have it treated properly. There's profit in shitty rivers. Why would a private company invest in treatment facilities when it's cheaper just to dump it? This is what it's about people. Privatise everything that the public paid to build, then wring every last ounce of profit from it (profit subsidised by public money), then have the public pick up the remains once there's nothing left. Nothing about this is a "Spill". It's policy. It's probably in the Company Guidebook... "At 3pm every day, open the sluices and dump the shite into the local river".
