I would also recommend getting your team to enter tournaments. Even the local town one had scouts.

Very interesting video with some good points especially as a father of an October born who is in an academy and of a very late August born boy who is playing grassroots. However I am hoping that if he is talented enough then he will succeed despite his age especially as I observe the better ones at the academy play up a year anyway.
