Nine Inch Nails Beginning of the End Hawkwind Zoo-like remix by Fans of Collision
Переглядів 1,8 тис.4 місяці тому
An experiment and part of a contest from years ago to remix a NIN song. I decided on taking the approach of remixing this song in a style reminiscent of the band Hawkwind. Specifically Hawkwind as they sounded in the early to mid 70's.

Model D MM1100 TT feedback
Переглядів 1728 місяців тому
This synth patch uses a Behringer Model D with an Electro-Harmonix MM1100-TT Analog Delay set up in a feedback loop. The video includes a patch diagram demonstrating how the AU Silent Way plugin from Expert Sleepers generates an envelope for the MM1100's CV input to control delay time. As mentioned, the delay is in a feedback loop with the synthesizer.

the flanging in this demo has a bit of that MXR flanger doubler sound, very tubular sounding and thick

Lorra lorra fun, as Cilla would say.

Saw Hawkwind a bunch of times in the 80’s, awe inspiring.
Mister? Mister, please don't melt my face. Please?
This is really good. Really f--king good.
A bunch of videos with shitty graphics on repeat is not really fuckin good.
You must be a fan of the badwitch catastrophe.
@@maddyboombaddybaddy6532No. We're like you, we're pathetically above the human race.
@@maddyboombaddybaddy6532 You forgot to mention the shitty AI generated image.

So glad I found this video. I could listen to this loop for hours. I remember my dad playing this song as a child, this part of the song always scared the shit out of me. Now I’m a huge retro synth fan, this tickles the brain so good 😩

hehehehe you gster will never get that
good work. which fseq editor did you use ? im unable to find one
I used an editor from this site, but it was years ago: synth-voice.sakura.ne.jp/fs1r_editor_english.html There was also a website where you could upload a sound file and it would return an fs1r file, but again, it was years ago.
thank you! ah yes that flash app. i found it on the wayback machine, but wasnt able to use it 😢😢😢😢
@@RossTotino was that modem patch based on an fseq of a dialup modem? man i gotta find an editor🔥

I was confused how to get the sustain pedal and came across this video. Yes, "The default setting for fs1 is sustain". Lol
I still have my K2000VP…. The only smart thing I ever did was keep that synth.

really good, thank you
Are you offering as a soundpack? These are awesome
That's an interesting idea. I just don't know how I would promote sound packs or how to get started.
@@RossTotino Hell, I'd venmo you some dollars for the wav files.
Is this the mk2 version? I've got the mk1 which appears even a bit dirtier.
This is the mk1. Sometimes I get pretty clean sounds with it, meaning lower noise floor and lower distortion. I wish I had a better handle on the gain staging. This seems to be also affected by the input impedance of the audio interface. It's a little frustrating.
I own the MKII and recently bought an MKI, initially planning to sell the MKII. Now I'm not so sure. The MKI has that magic sound, but the MKII offers greater flexibility due to lower noise, all while preserving that distinctive crunch of Sega goodness. What surprises me the most about these chips is their refined sound, going beyond typical video game sounds.
"The disk drive is a high density 1.4 Mbyte floppy".. only in 2023 and being old enough to believe that sentence will this comment be both humourous and amazing
Meu primeiro teclado ❤
I remember Christmas Eve prior to release reading the glossy and knowing that I HAD TO HAVE ONE and also knowing that Santa couldn't possibly deliver that kind of magic the next day
Great sounds! I use the Blast Beats which are also one of the most creative electronic instruments IMHO
Thanks!
Do you have the SYX / presets available for download? I would love to try these out for myself.
