Designed for today’s modern skid steer and tractor front loaders. Available in 62” or 77” width, the split top design provides dual upper grapples for picking up brush and other debris while leaving the dirt behind. I bought one at the NFMS in Louisville around 1989. It has unrolled 400 a year every year since. Works great and never had a problem with it.
How does that work in a real situation like mine where there’s rocks in the soil everywhere? Lol that’s way easy digging wherever this video was shot.
I bought this over a month ago and i'm still waiting for the Hydraulic Valve Cable Harness, Interface Cable Harness Extension, and remote Control Switch Box w/Harness as none of that was shipped with the unit. I would like to of ordered the Laser Pole Kit but no one can tell me how it works exactly and with not even being able to get the required wiring I need to make it work, it has been a total loss of money!

Rock Grapple ... 95% of the video Grabbing Logs. Ok, two boundary cases you needed to show how it makes things better for widespread adoption of your product: #1 Show how someone can grab rocks piled up against a fence/wall without taking out the wall. #2 Show how someone can grab the last rocks in a pile that are rolling across the ground or are embedding in the silty soil without having to exit the machine and manually place them into the bucket because you have nothing else to push against. If these two real-world boundary conditions can not be demonstrated, then this bucket is just a me-too grapple bucket that suffers from the same Achilles heel that the rest of of them do. Probably a lot cheaper to weld up a push-against plate that you can carry into place with a $1500 garden variety grapple bucket.
What is the minimum PTO horse power for this stump grinder?

I have been pleasantly surprised by how well it does, how beefy it is, and how well thought-out its design.*
Don't see any sort of advantage other than more moving parts & costs.

Had two of these for years they work great and very little waste . I don’t continuously spin the bale just spin a little a time so a piece falls off about the size of a half a small bale and keep the plies of hay about 15 to 20 feet apart
Seems over priced for what it does.... not to mention the cows are still walking and standing in the hay which means they are still using the bathroom in it and mashing it into the mud. I will stick to my hay cradles... and keep moving them around to different places to reduce large mud areas and manure build up.

I bought mine in 2010 and never one maintenance issue. I Replaced the chain last year. I promise I have saved enough hay to pay for it since 2010.
That's because you are feeding 5 cows...
Hay cradles are dangerous . I run a portable welding business. I've had to cut them apart from where 2 cows have stuck there heads through one opening . Once 3 cows got hung together the cow on bottom was dead by the time I got there to cut them out .
If your feeding a lot of cows you will save a lot of money by spinning out your hay vs. Using rings. The key is giving them the correct amount of hay so none is wasted. Been doing it for years and the cows eat every last stem and are in good body condition.

That is a very amazing product, someone was thinking out of the box!
no waste?!? only if you have enough cows to eat the entire bale in a couple of hours. 2:04 almost all of the cows in the pasture are STANDING ( and thus - shitting ) on the hay. i think the bale un-winders work best in feed lots where the cows put their heads thru a feeding stock / gate. - so they can only reach the hay with their heads. in an open pasture - like this one - and ours- the elevated round bale cradle feeders work best. simple operation, dump the bale in from the top, cows can gather all around the feeder to eat, almost NO loss or mess. if you have a lot of cows use more feeders. and if you keep them full their will be no FEEDING PRESSURE.
Finally, some common sense truth, not salesmanship manure.
Unrolling spreads nutrients and seed across the entire pasture and prevents hoof problems from built up manure/mud/moisture at the feeding site(s).
And every cow gets to eat when they please

How many gallons per minute flow MAXIMUM will this broom handle? I have a 1973 Unimog with 12 gallons flow at 2000 psi. I am interested in one of these units.
This unit is a 540 PTO driven unit. The only hydraulics needed would be if you added the hydraulic angle kit.
