Kind of...but it's more complicated then that.: Evil and the people they control/influence are given special advantages over the people they seek to destroy that make it MUCH easier for them to find you, destroy everything around them including themselves and you, and get you to do things you wouldn’t normally do. For example, narcs have none of the feelings that we have. These feelings they lack are actually ENHANCED for us: Fear, love, pain, regret, empathy, sadness, guilt, anxiety, etc. The people they target are given many DISADVANTAGES that can be exploited by the narc, make it almost impossible to escape them, and assist in the narc destroying their lives. For example: mental illnesses, openness, honesty, trust, attachment, vulnerability, etc. Not only that, but narcs are given special powers. Not kidding. They know things that they shouldn’t. They can make us do things that we would never do normally. They somehow make us fall in love with them immediately. Their entities put us under spells and in trances. We feel the worst kinds of torture when we try to leave them and feel like we’re literally going to die without them, can’t breathe, can’t function. They can make you have a mental breakdown and go crazy. I have seen them have supernatural acting abilities, sometimes read your mind, and predict the future. I am convinced it’s a game rigged by evil. And evil owns this place. For sure. I can see it so clearly around me. If you think about it, nothing is off limits for evil. It is allowed to do all of these things. No being/entity has every stopped any of it from happening. No entities come to the rescue for any of these poor souls, who are ALWAYS GOOD people. I see evil every time I go outside or online, and it’s influencing everything and everyone. Even when we dream, our dreams are filled with demonic things- nightmares, sleep paralysis, demoralizing sex acts, confusion, every once in a while something hopeful to make us wish it were true (but then we wake up and realize it’s not real). I don’t see any good forces influencing anything. I see PEOPLE attempting to every once in a while, but they are BLOCKED from really helping because they have no help and these entities/people controlled by them always manage to stifle and tear down any progress they make. If there is a “god” he ain’t here. He left us to rot. OR the entity that everyone worships is actually satan/evil entities, who has tricked ya’ll into believing there is a god by having the bible written and religion created as a way to give us false hope and breadcrumbs (just like narcs do so we stay with them) so we don’t just off ourselves, because then they would lose their “playthings” and we wouldn’t be as fun to mess with. I’ve always said to myself, the god of the bible is the biggest narcissist of all. There are so many similarities it isn’t even funny. Need for control and endless admiration, jekyll and hyde personality, punishes you for not going along with his narrative, causes you and tempts you to sin and then says youre doing something wrong (just like narcs push you into situations and then call you the bad one for going along with it), considers himself perfect and good when in reality he commits awful acts against humanity like curses, death, etc. Says conflicting information and uses confusing manipulative tactics. Very secretive about himself (see the bible- no mentions about satan and who/what he really is so we can better fight him off). Yeah I’m sure there’s more but you get the gist. What happens after we die? Pretty sure we are sent right back here to suffer all over again. Cuz these narcs be out here narcin’ and these demons be gettin’ bored (just like the narcissist gets bored if he isn’t terrorizing you. They’re addicted to watching us in pain and despair).
Thanks for this information, beloved of God!!!
I just bought one of the books you recommended. It solves the problem I was having. (I got the Logos version.) Thanks
It took me way too long to figure out εφαγον was the aorist form of εσθιω lol
This is a great resource, I wish I had seen something like this five years ago when I first started studying the bible. I will definitely recommend it in my channel for others to check out.
Awesome - thanks so much! 😊
What about books on customs of other groups in the bible and other laws and rules that helped entangle, Isreal . MrC
Do you have any video of you reading Hebrew from the Bible?
I always use Logos and just click the word and it opens... I had no idea they were arranged different like that... Thank you!

Thank you! Answer to prayer! 🙏 If you like, I'd post a direct link to the workbook. Had to search for it on Lexham Press's website
There is a Reddit post in r/AncientGreek which shows how to customise the Mac Keyboard, "MacOS Polytonic Greek Keyboard Customisation tips for learning to touch type Ancient Greek". This is useful if one wants to remove keys to save on-screen realestate. My on-screen keyboard just has the diacritics (accents).
I bought this book and it says that genesis 1:1. In the beginning god. Well it says god is number 1140 and that says it’s demonic. I don’t understand
A book that I find very helpful in understanding more of the background of the gospels is SITTING AT THE FEET OF RABBI JESUS: How the Jewishness of Jesus Can Transform Your Faith. This is by Ann Spangler and Lois Tverberg. Jesus and his disciples were all Jewish, and devout ones at that. I’m reading through it a secon time and it’s enlightening as to how Jesus’ hearers would have understood Him from the mindset of their Jewish biblical beliefs. It’s amazing how much of Jesus teaching is built around the Old Testament as it was understood in the first century. Well researched and documented.
Thank you for this!
As I've gotten older, the problem I have with study bibles is threefold: tiny font, badly bleeding paper, and study notes that I've outgrown.
YES! I am in that stage of life, as well. My eyesight has never been great and it's (obviously) not getting better the older I get. Mid 50s now and I am surprised (and worried) at how much more difficult it is getting to read smaller print.
Nice video here mate, this is what I keep saying. BlockDAG is here to stay and the full support it's getting from investors says a lot. Now they've crossed Over $65.1 million in presale!!
Thanks! Great reading list! Here's a good one, highly regarded, beautifully organized and thorough. It's emphasis is on the Greco-Roman world + Judaism. Covers a LOT of ground. "Backgrounds of Early Christianity" by Everett Ferguson. Copyrights 1987, 1993, 2003. 672 pp. Synopsis: Having long served as a standard introduction to the world of the early church, Everett Ferguson's Backgrounds of Early Christianity has been expanded and updated in this third edition. The book explores and unpacks the Roman, Greek, and Jewish political, social, religious, and philosophical backgrounds necessary for a good historical understanding of the New Testament and the early church. New to this edition are revisions of Ferguson's original material, updated bibliographies, and fresh discussions of first-century social life, of Gnosticism, and of the Dead Sea Scrolls and other Jewish literature.
Sounds fascinating, thank you. I need to stop reading comments. My "to read" pile/list is already insane!
How a video this good have less than 1000 views?
I’m so excited! My BDB arrived
I bought the Learning Biblical Hebrew text and workbook. So exciting! Also bought the BDB Lexicon…. I’m taking my first online class (or first class ever, since high school-some 40+ years ago). Thank you so very much for your instruction,
I’m currently reading and am enjoying N.T. Wright’s “The New Testament in Its World.” Wright writes with style and the book has lots of pictures, too. I also have most of the books you’ve mentioned but haven’t read yet. Great list and definitely very helpful! Thanks!
Amen to an amazing verse of comfort! 🙏
This is the best discussion of biblical languages I have heard. Thank you.
I had to chuckle when I realized that the majority of these books were either on my shelf or in my Amazon wish list. 🤣
I can relate 😂
¡Dios te bendiga más y más cada dia de tu vida, gloria al Señor porque he conseguido tu canal, todo tu trabajo no es vano!
Good job! You laid out a very simple yet perfectly detailed explanation of the difference between the two ways of approaching the Word of God
You not show books but show system. Books are easy to understand.
Great video! You did a perfect job giving short and concise intros and descriptions of the different books and mentioning their strengths and weaknesses. This is how a video like this should be structured! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
One of my favorite novels is The Sparrow by Mary Doria Russell. It's a compelling novel about a Franciscan priest accompanying an expedition to a new world. It also has much to say about the place of suffering in the world, and how we handle it when we suffer greatly.
I, too, had never thought of the cost of a letter, how dear it must have been to Paul. It also makes me think of all the trials he suffered and, in the midst of those, how important he thought it was to communicate the gospel and guide the church. We are truly blessed to be able to pick up a bible (or more) and have it in a language accessible to us!
I lean more to the heart study but Not to take it out of context. When we pray we talk to God. When we read the bible God talks to us. ❤
Love ❤ that quote. ❤❤❤❤
Sometimes my thoughts are if we focus too much on culture we use the excuse God's Word applied to them but not to us. I like application bibles. How God speaks to us today through His Word. I have a Cultural Background Study Bible and find it distracting. I don't care about the different gods etc. I just know what God says not to worship other gods or idols. Max Lucado Study Bibles are good and David Jeremiah Study Bible.
If that many books why don't I seem to find any in my online book stores ????
I saw the book price, does this include the work book as well?
What the hell are you talking about? How is this for a beginner? What’s morphology? What’s them tables? Who is Aorist?
Drop the fantasyland fiction
Great explanation!
Thank you for this review. I recently obtained Decker's book and your explanation has really helped me.
This episode was a blessing to me, I’m a reformed pastor in Brazil trying to learn more how to teach Hebrew, and man, this episode give me so much insights. Thanks 🙏🏻
Outstanding!
I Love this advice. It can be applied to so many areas in life.
You have my attention! BTW, that’s a sharp haircut! Semper Fi
Great video! I do have a question….with all of that being said, do you think that the cost would’ve caused the authors to reduce characters that they other wise wouldn’t have if the cost wasn’t suspected to be as high as it was?
D
Don't waste time on "Biblical Hebrew" which is only a one facet (out of few) of the Hebrew language. Just learn Hebrew. When you have Hebrew you can very easily master the biblical text. On the other hand, if you even master the "Biblical Hebrew", you will not be able to understand modern Hebrew.
It is your opinion,so don't discourage him or others, because you don't think so,besides biblical hebrew is not useless if you trying to understand Bible better or another sources written in the ancient hebrew, because modern hebrew has lost a few grammatical devices, that are not used in modern hebrew and in transcribing Bible into modern hebrew your comprehension of it will be a little bit disproportional in terms of meaning of particular grammatical syntax in certain words and phrases in text itself and so on.
@@Ғарыштық You're right' if you want to understand the bible you need to learn the biblical Hebrew. All I said is that if you master modern Hebrew, the biblical way pf expression ("biblical Hebrew") will be very easy for you to understand. Every Israeli child understands the bible language after a very short time of learning, all because he is a native Hebrew speaker
@@ashershaham Yes of course, but for me personally I am not interested in modern hebrew and reasons are simply subjective for instance:I don't like phonetics of modern hebrew, because they are not very variable in sense of sound abilities, which biblical hebrew has and other is that I want strictly to understand the Bible and not to speak with jews in Israel or to know the language simply to read a book or to go to Israel and be able to read signes there.I am more interested in Biblical comprehansion and maybe writing for myself in biblical hebrew just for fun purposes.
@@Ғарыштық Modern and biblical Hebrew sound exactly the same. It depends on your personal preference and the accent you choose. Like American or British English, very similar but a bit different. However, if you study modern Hebrew, the Bible becomes very easy
@@ashershaham I don't agree, that they sound the same, because modern hebrew doesn't have sounds like[θˌβˌħˌqˌɬˌɣˌʔˌð and so on]I know that the Biblical hebrew had and has many variants, but this is known to be the standard usually and most commonly met variant of biblical hebrew. The currant version of hebrew is based upon Yidish pronouciation used by jews living in Europe and other countries beside the Mizrahi jews.
Do you recommend the Brill Ancient Greek dictionary?

I am from Pakistan. How i can get this book
They're all good recommendations and there are plenty more so he did a good job in keeping the list down. Which one are you looking for? I have all of these and got most of them from Amazon. If you are new to Hebrew I would start with Chisholm and go to DailyDoseOfHebrew to learn and follow along
It's good you have cost in today's dollars - but it would have been even better to include the original price and how that price related to ancient people daily/monthly salary. $2275 dollars - is that a 2 months salary or a two week salary?
