Some cool tips: Hoard all scrolls on one of the 3 (brutality, tactics, survival) depending on what your current build is, and only choose the other options whenever you don't have the option you have available in which case you choose the one with the highest health this is because you don't actually get the damage boost from the scroll only the health if you don't have the weapon that uses that scroll also the 15% damage boost is constant with the amount of scrolls as opposed to the health boost that lowers for each scroll... this also applies for weapons that have two types, an example would be the laser glaive that has both brutality and tactics, it always gets the damage boost from your most dominant scroll count so if let's say you have 3 brutality scrolls and only 2 tactics scrolls it will only get the damage boost from the brutality scrolls and completely disregard the tactics scrolls because it only uses the scroll with the highest count in this case it's brutality, damage is the most important stat in this game it doesn't matter if you have higher health if you would take 2 or even 3 times longer to kill a boss or monster... Second tip would be to get used to parrying or if you're having a hard time parrying you can also use the cocoon which has a better window for parrying also pushes back enemies and give you i frames if you do end up missing the parry, although it will have a cooldown if you miss a parry, it can be acquired from a secret room in the undying shores biome but this requires you to have fatal falls dlc, if you're still struggling to parry with this or don't have the dlc you can use the armadillopack mutation if you have a shield on your backpack... this of course means you need to get the backpack upgrade from the collector then get the armadillopack mutation from one of those monsters with spiked back commonly found in the ossuary or sometimes in the dilapidated arboretum. What this mutation does is that it turns your rolls into parries as long as you have a shield in your backpack which can help you parry attacks coming your way and most importantly deflect incoming projectiles especially those bombs dropped by those monsters in the toxic sewers, or those bombs thrown by HOTK, bullets from conjunctivious, and the shurikens and grab attacks done by the time keeper... trust me being able to parry is a god send and practically a must have skill for higher difficulties... Third tip: slowly upgrade the forge preferably you already completed the first stage of the forge and probably already have some points on the 2nd stage as you finish 1BC or on 2BC... And for my last tip: have fun... dead cells is grueling and unforgiving but the most important part is to have fun

Be sure to at least pick up Reign of the Giants DLC if you haven't yet, it's free you just need to add it to library. (It only activates when finishing the game for the first time so I can't tell if you have it yet) Also funny seeing someone praise the King Scepter, i hate that weapon so much and how it throws me around, I once found a high level Legendary quality while in dire need of any weapon and insta sold it anyway. :D

It's really worth picking a single stat and committing to building around it, instead of going after whatever weapon you happened to pick up, weapons are temporary but the damage multiplier will scale into late game. Personally I'm a fan of Tactics builds with all sorts of status effect synergies, but all 3 options are fun and good.

Face Flask works by using the "rally mechanic". When you are hit, there is an orange bar ticking down in your health bar instead of insta gone. If you hit an enemy before it's gone, you heal some of the orange back up, the game rewards pushing forward instead of running away when hit. Face Flask damages you, but gives a quarter of your total missing HP as orange juice, so you can heal with it. (I dont like it either. :D )

Sword and pistol is a historically accurate weapon combo :D So it's funny you are so confused by it among all the made up video game weapons, when people actually ran around with it. (In Dead Cells it is a reference to the game Curse of the Dead Gods.)

If you haven’t figured it out in one of the other videos, if you time your shield well you can parry and reflect damage instead of just negating some of it

pro tip upgrade the pasives first like gold reserve health flask

my first piece of advice is to use the bow instead of shield, but also it's lovely to watch someone experience the game for the first time. keep up the good work.

A few tips to improve: 1- Only take scrolls the same color as your weapon, the damage boost is a lot more valuable than the health boost of other colors 2- learn the parry timing, it’s REALLY helpful on higher difficulties 3- look for an exclamation mark above an enemies head, this tells you when they’re about to attack and if u press parry or dodge you’ll get away easily 4- focus on health upgrades and starting weapons first, then upgrade what you want

jd recommend trying to get every rune and and upgrading your gold reserves and health flasks, I'm looking forward to this series 🙏

When in the air you can slam the ground to deal damage and if I remember correctly stun enemies. Also don't forget you dodge, it's not the best but you get a few frames of invincibility which is useful but don't rely on it too much. Keep up the good work!

I love how kingdom rush has shown older versions of old heroes in these newer games. SPOILER ALERT FOR VENGANCE!!!!! Sir gerald, malik, aleria (kingdom rush 1) are shown in kingdom rush vengance allong with alric, mirage, captain blackthorne and black corsair from kingdom rush frontiers. and now eridan and arivan from origins are shown in kingdom Rush alliance! (The bowman on the castle and the wizzard boss guy)

Blighted Farmlands, like all of the other levels in the final area, is meant to be a mirror to the Otil Farmlands level from KRV. Desecrated Temple - Stormcloud Temple (KR1). Corruption Valley - Forsaken Valley (KR1). Eyesore Tower - The Dark Tower (KR1). It's a really cool way to make references to previous games.

Btw if you kill the abombination at the top with the elf mining some red rocks the elf will help you with their bow and kill the spiders from the wall. You can get up to four.

I give this video a 1/10. I like some of these outlets don't get me wrong, but some of them just seem wildly impractical. Call me anti-innovation but the ones with the curves have got to go. I have never seen a chord with a curve like that in it and even if the outlet did exist and as a result power chords get curved prongs, I don't want that either. It would look bad Im sorry. That already takes away half of the outlets on this video which is outrageous. Can we not come up with designs that are brand new but also don't completely take away from everything that made the old designs good? It's like Teaganus just wanted to be as "new" as possible without actually doing any research on the matter and just spewing random ideas just because. This is also shown with how not only do half of them have curves which is annoying (see above) but even with that in mind still added EVEN MORE! Outlet 10 for example, a curve, a vertical line on the left, in the middle a second vertical line that leads into a cross. Did any thought go into this design or was it just something that "looked cool". Not to mention the fact that for an outlet review video there is a far lack of regular outlets. I have seen 2 outlets from this video in real life. EVERY other one is just made up. It is ridiculous! So what is this meant to do? Pitch new ideas for outlets? Review old designs? It is impossible to tell because there is no rhyme or reason to any of this. Maybe if there was some kind of explanation but that brings me to my next point of contention: the complete and total lack of commentary. What kind of video is this to not talk about any of the designs here? You go through so many different designs for what? Just for fun. I did not come here just to see outlets if I wanted to do that I could just look it up. So what makes these outlet designs good? What weaknesses do they have? What power chords are/could be used for it? And of course the description does not help either. I really like outlets but this was a tough watch.
