Legendary performance but man Plants voice is extremely scarred by this point, poor diet, drugs, sleep deprivation and constant colds effecting his iconic tone he achieved in the studio. The possibilities if these guys were sober and less sloppy onstage. They still kick most bands asses even so. Just saying. This era was insain for musicianship and I just think drugs ruined it and took alot of legends and ruined so many others ✌🏻♥️

Both of these songs were only played live a few times, before being dropped from the set list. That makes soundboard recordings of them that much more special.

Roger is King. But Wright's contributions to this song make it operatic and epic. And then there's Gilmour's guitar. And Mason's opening drums. But Roger deserves the credit he desperately longs for, and if you're his friend, you know how insecure he is, so you should be happy to give him his due.

One of my favorite Zeppelin recordings because it showed that whenever you were lucky enough to see them, it was a rare look into the evolution of the band playing their own stuff. I've heard people claim Zeppelin stole from others, today, I guess because sampling others stuff is so common today. While they had their influences like everyone, I've heard nothing but originals composed and produced by all 3, but mainly Page. Every song every night was an evolution from the night before. When by the end and we lost Bonham, there absolutely wasn't anyone who could carry that evolution forward in his place ❤ Never be another drummer like him. His power was unmatched.

wow cool recording i also cant believe the Cure played in Wollongong leagues club August 10, 1980 but i was underage so i would have been blow away to see them in a small venue

I was at a concert by The Cure in August 1981 at the Capitol Theatre Sydney Aus. The sound quality you’ve provided is much cleaner than at the gig. Memorable concert. The Capitol was a great venue. At the time a very faded old beauty with wonderful but decrepit ornamentations. It perfectly suited the music. Thanks for posting.
