It is just an un-necessary re-branding, and frequency increase of the X26 route which has existed since 2005. The downside is that wha Khan didn't tell you is they are reducing the frequency of the 285 and 213 bus routes at the same time and reducing the running time so it is nearly always late or you get 2 or 3 buses running together, whilst other just seem to be cut. At least when it was half hourly it generally ran to time. I use it and it is a big dis-improvement.

Brilliant video especially including directions and names of roads, however a couple of spelling errors exist. The roads around Heathrow Airport are Perimeter roads, not P(A)rimeter also the approach to Kingston Bridge is Horse Fair not Flair.

What a ball ache. Back when I was on the 93 rota, right at Tibbets onto A3, hoof it down to Shannon's Corner then up Grand Drive. Looking at all the 20mph speed limits, glad I'm out of the job and out of London.

A great big thank you for this. The S1 route has a special place in my heart as I lived in Sutton for over 20 years just off Langley Park Road and I used it all the time as it practically stopped outside my house. It came to my rescue on many a rainy night. I lived on the hail and ride section so it was great that I could just put out my hand for it to stop. I moved to Liverpool earlier this year so coming across your video is like coming across a long lost friend.

I drove the 93 route for 12 years. So glad I didn't have this diversion whilst I was driving the route daily. Worst experience I had while driving the route was the gas main being laid in Wimbledon.
