The National League is wide open. Probably Arizona, San Diego, Philly, and LA top the list. In the American league it looks like it will be Baltimore or the Yankees.

I live in Dolphins territory and the Raiders is the one time a year I go to a game I've been on the fence about a jersey for years, I've actually never owned an NFL jersey. There was one in the past I really wanted but it no longer exists (I REFUSE to buy knockoffs). There's also a certain jersey patch I'd want on it but it wouldn't make sense since this particular patch wasn't used on that jersey But I'm still a proud member of the Raider Nation, even if I haven't "earned my colors"

This was a great surprise. .....Not much room for error if the Giants are hoping to nab that 3rd wild card spot. Did not like the moves they made at the trade deadline. They made the Braves better while seeming to already look towards next year. ......Like you I rarely catch a complete baseball game. Unless I'm at the park or its a playoff game. So I catch 2 innings on the car radio. Maybe the 8th and 9th innings on tv if its a close game, etc.

I 100 percent agree with you.. LA would have been perfect for the Raiders. Till this day I tell everyone that the NFL messed up by not allowing the raiders to come to LA.. It should have been the Rams and Raiders in LA. Chargers should have gone to Vegas or Oklahoma City.. sometimes i feel like the NFL sent the raiders to Vegas to ruin their image.. I hope the Raiders stick it to the NFL and win multiple super bowls in Vegas.

I grew up an Oaks fan. I wear my Oaks jersey to the A's game and never cease to strike up a very pleasant conversation with another old guy like me who grew up with the Oaks and now are guest services guys.

As a sabres fan I’m so happy for the sharks and their fans and a team in California i only cared about and liked growing up

Not only do I not feel obligated to support my team when they relocate, I'm finding satisfaction that the Raiders don't really have a traditional fan base in Vegas, which makes it easier to mourn their loss. It also gives me an excuse to not follow football anymore (or baseball, now that the A's are moving there too). But have you seen the crowds at the LV Raiders games?? Half the crowd is rooting for the other team, especially if it's the Chiefs or another uber popular team. That's what happens when you move to a "destination city". The Raiders will probably never be a winner again because of this, and the A's will never be a winning franchise as long as Fisher is the owner. Oh, they'll make a lot of money, but when you don't have the kind of fan base they had in Oakland... I was 17 yrs old when the Raiders moved from Oakland the first time, and I vowed I would never support them if they moved away again after they returned in '95. I had season tickets from '95 through the 2003 season. (I also had season tickets the last two years they were in LA). And I spent half of my life wondering if the A's were going to follow through with threats to move away. I'll never forget the winter of 1979/80 when they were supposed to be moving to Denver, but then Charlie Finley got wise and hired Billy Martin, and saved the franchise! At least until now anyway.
