Hey! I've been working on my own and just stumbled on your project. I purchased a manifold with 8 build in solenoids but it seems like they are open by default, does that seem normal? I would have thought they would all be closed and hold pressure when the whole car is turned off, but it seems to be the opposite. I'm confused tbh, I don't want to have to power my board while the car is off

You are free to do whatever you see fit. If you can connect 4 height sensors and make it auto adjust the car height clearance that would be the last step i left undone.

I found that using this software with webcam for X, Y and Z and EDTracker worked great for 6DOF...

this is a dumb question but since I literally just learned about head tracking with War Thunder I am a bit confused. If I turn my head to the right I can no longer see my monitor so whats the point
you dont need to turn it all the way right, you can adjust the sensitivity
you could use triple monitor or wide screen monitor setup
Hey, thanks! Great tutorial! Do you know if you can set this so that you can lean your head on way or the other? Like looking back isn't enough, there was a manual way you could put your head to the glass and see your tail for example.
Glad i could help, the thing i came across with this setup is that if you try to do more complex movements it will scramble everything. You can try to use the Roll function or even make a macro for a key, that changes the camera to look back and zoom or look and center on tail
Yeah man, I figured that out after, I just needed to set the x and y axis, and I got that working smoothly. I was trying to use the z axis for back and forth but I can't seem to get it to where it is useable. I actually want it to be back fully all the time which it can't really do and that skews the other axis' . I also had to make it a bit brighter in the room and that helps. But overall very pleased with the whole set up and I have come to where I really need it to play, sim at least. I was trying it in RB a bit but haven't got it to a useable state yet. Cheers!

Does the smoothing feature stop the camera from wobbling as you try to look at something off to the side? when I start to look off to the sides, the camera starts to waver unless I hold my head absolutely still. good tip about disabling the other inputs; my game doesn't support them anyway
You need to fine tune the curvature of the input graphs the best way it suit you. i've found that for me the best was a late ascend.

@@lotto2942yeah, it is under 5 dollars and it isn't much to ask for in the program. Like why complain if it isn't free? Just like photoshop.. it isn't free. There is other software that is similar to photoshop that is free but very limiting.

Hello, I am trying to find software for IR camera on Microsoft book. There is a camera on it with face tracking ir but the problem is not for a games. there is only for when you log in to computer to recognize with your actual face. Is there anything that I can download for track IR on camera build-in Microsoft Book?

Job vd Boom Works fine on ATS but on ETS2 can't reset the camera to the center position and now still can't fine the way to work :D

+orhun berk çağatay I don't use this anymore but check the facetrack program if you are using axis or pitch and yaw

+Crash If the game is compatible with Track IR its very likely to work with almost any head tracking software, however there are some exceptions. If you are talking about Euro/American truck simulator, I think you are, then yes it does work, I use it for those two games all the time, really pulls you into the game, all I need is pedals and a steering wheel and you would never see me again till I parked the truck for the night.

+Ognjen Slavkovic hi the best is the TrackIr system, but if you really like simulation i think you should wait for the VR devices that are coming out. It is what i am doing. cheers
+Ognjen Slavkovic With this tracking system or any tracking system, so far, including the new VR stuff, you will have to set the "curves" to your liking. If you start getting neck pain or eye strain problems you can set the curves so you can turn your head less and get more of a reaction on screen. Its a small balancing act but you should devote some time to it, once you get it to your liking it starts to become second nature, and can be a real game changer. I use it a lot for ARMA 2 and 3, its saved my ass multiple times and really immerses you into the game world. I used Free Track IR and a home build tracking system for a while as well and it was great, and I experienced no discomfort, other than the $20 it cost me for the IR LEDs, battery holder, wires, and batteries. It does take some getting used to though when a little turn of your head turns into a big turn of your characters head, it can be kind of disorienting at first, but I got used to it after about 30 minutes.

Hi If anyone is interested, please check out my hand made head tracking clip on my youtube channel or search for LukeClip on ebay. It is battery operated so you dont have to mess with power cords. It works great with PS3 Eye camera and free software like FreetrackNOIR shown above. It is much cheaper than trackIR but works just as well! Please share this to any one that might be interested. Its showing my webcam image in the commercial box but I cant get the facial recognition software to start tracking my face! How is it that you get it to follow your head movement. Because it seems you already have presets created! The guestion is how do you create a profile to start the facial recognition?
Ok so I'm barely using any CPU usage and hardly any RAM, but my hertz is red and remains around 15, how do I fix? Do I need better lighting? Edit:Ok I figured this out, but my next problem with the bit of lag still remains
