Standard Pirelli aren't great. If you get Michelins or Goodyears they'll be better. Also get the RPM Performance wishbone braces. They make a big difference. Also get Powerflex lower torque bush mount Do all of that and you'll see a slight difference. Only way I have completley gotten rid of it is changing gear earlier from 2nd. Makes a big difference!

Thanks mate! My Custom N settings are all on maximum, but suspension is set to the softest. That way I can toggle between normal N mode for good road surfaces and N custom for okay/bad ones. :)

In the wet, Yes it's terrible 😂 in the dry the wheel spin isn't too bad, it's the standing starts and wheel hop that is the issue

Nothing wrong with your English at all buddy! That's something I don't really know for sure, but at a guess, when I got it remapped I did notice a difference that the meters would reach maximum a lot faster, so I'd guess and say that they probably still show the correct amount, but once they go over the maximum from when it was stock, it doesn't record any higher. Hope that makes sense! And yes, 400BHP with FWD is probably as high as I'd go before wanting to change to a 4WD equivalent if I'm honest, OR I'd need to do something about the insane wheel hop I get. I know there are some solutions and I've tried a few, but hasn't quite got rid of it yet.

Also have you been provided a like for like car as a temporary replacement? There are way to escalate thing as your car is still depreciating while it's sat in a hyundai garage 😉

That's a shame mate, from my experience it's more about each individual dealership and their ability/disability to help. Some dealerships are great, others not so much. Same with most car manufacturers

If you have the PFL you have the generation 1 turbo which is much smaller than the Gen 2 (one I have). Unfortunately you won't be able to make anywhere near the power of a gen 2 turbo without upgrading that turbo. I'm sure of the exact figures but I think a stage 1 remap will get you to around 300ish then stage 2 would be 340ish. For stage 1, you don't really need anything, just remap it. For stage 2 you need intercooler, gpf delete, flexi pipe, downpipe and hpfp if you're really going for it.

On the facelift gen how much bhp expected from a stage 1 remap?

What do you mean by long shot? If you mean long term, I have driven the car 10k miles since it was at this power and haven't had any problems yet.

@@goughys.i30n Well I dont know how it is in the UK but you loose here the warranty if you play with the engine to much. I have 5 years warranty on the car and want to drive it very long. So something like 62k miles. I could assume that at 20/30k the car would make problems with that egine pumped up. I also assume that it is chipped and not refitted with better parts to withstand the new power. A college told me that his tuner friend told him that the i30N's are build for their factory bhp and not more. So they can have that power and also reach many miles without any problems.

Hate to say it but his tuner friend is wrong. These DCT are so much more robust compared to the manual transmission. Not to mention Hyundai specifically made the n cars to enter into rally stages. They were literally made to be tuned. Imo our best mapping company in the UK for the i30N's is courtenay sport, and they map them so they don't explode. My car made over 400bhp, but they tuned it down so it doesn't put too much strain on all the other parts involved in making that power. Lots of tuners do this Regarding Warrunty, go look at my other video about how I got the car to this power, might answer a few of your questions buddy! :)@@Sniperahead

Yeah the launch against the subaru was terrible by comparison. I had a theory that the left lane my have had slightly more grip than the right. Someone had a oil spill in the middle of the day that they may have not managed to fully clean up. 🤔 would explain the 5. Something 0-60 on run 3

Just under 400 ;) It's more of the fact becauise it's FWD it struggles for traction and wheel hops at the top end of 1st gear. After that it really picks up.
