I returned to this game after years of playing SV, and found it to be significantly more comforting. I liked seeing other players roaming the wild areas, it made the game feel much less lonely. The raid battles are also a lot more fun than the horrible jank in SV. Additionally, for all its graphical faults, the battles in SS were very pretty looking and well-lit.

It's blatantly unfinished for the highest grossing media franchise it's unacceptable.

My gf recently played it and holy crap the "story" was still as garbage as I remembered. "Go through the lands of Galar and chill on a parkbench while other characters experience the important stuff offscreen." should be written on the back. Member when we used to have Evil team hideouts that we had to fight and puzzle through? Gamefreak thought nah that is too complex for child brains, make it an elevator with underleveld grunts. And then I put 300 more hours into it because the Competitive scene had never been as accesible and just generally fun. Oh and add another 100 hours because the Dyna-Cave was one of the best Gameplay-loops Pokemon ever did.

Personally I love it but I understand these points !
