I am student from the first batch and like you, I am also enrolled in offline college. Frankly, if you've did programming in c or python, you will probably have quiet a good time for the first 2 trimesters, but after that, the MATHEMATICAL SUBJECTS! They just suck man, they are difficult, honestly. The videos are quite boring ngl. If you'll enroll to this course, you'll probably have test on every even week {2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12}, and it may have 10-15 or maybe even 20 mcqs which you have to solve. That's pretty much the routine for the first 3 trimesters, I guess. You can probably finish all your videos on the odd th week and then you'll have the whole week to study for your offline college.

@@Berryyyy.. I gave the qualifier exam. Honestly, the last trimester I have was not able to focus that much because had test every freaking week. But in this trimester, they made some good changes like taking tests every 2nd week, which gives me a significant time to study for the test. So to your question, in the odd weeks I do my own works such as offline college work, dsa, webd, etc. and in the next week I am easily able to cover up all the videos for the next tests, which happen on Saturday and Sunday.

What do you think is this online degree useful to you till now in any way?...do you think it's worth this much fee?

@@Berryyyy.. I think that if you have the opportunity to get an "IIT" tag on yourself by sitting at home only, then you should definitely give do it. Rest of the decision is on your parents.

You can’t doubt the teaching qualities because the professors are from IITG, and as the say they have best professors they mean it!

My first preference was to study from home and no matter how many college will launch online degree i will always select IITG over anything! Why? I have mentioned all the WHY(s) in the vedio, you can consider watching it!

Only IIT Madras & IIT Guwahati provide online degree, in IITM you have to be available at a certain centre to give your tests which includes travelling and all but, In IITG from attending lecs to giving tests everything is online. So i went for IITG
