Sehr geil. Bad Homburg ist über Frankfurt mittels der S-Bahn (Linie S5) immer gut zu erreichen. Im Hauptbahnhof Frankfurt einfach ungefähr auf Höhe des Apothekenschildes (im Inneren des Bahnhofs) geht's zunächst eine Ebene runter mit der Rolltreppe. Da kann man sich die Fahrkarte ziehen. Dann die nächste Rolltreppe noch ein mal eine Ebene tiefer und rechts halten, sprich unten angekommen geht's auf der rechten Seite mit der S-Bahn die 'Friedrichsdorf' als Endhaltestelle hat gen Bad Homburg, die Station, die zwei Stationen vorher ist.

Stationed there from 1969 to 1971, Schloss Caserne is almost unrecognizable.Looks like Companies A,B,and C barracks for 16th Signal Battalion have been torn down. Wonderful memories.

When you reached Altdorf I was really hoping you would take a left into town so I could see where I used to live. I have great memories of driving my motorbike on the B3 from Lahr to Altdorf, and many other Schwarzwald roads.

I drove this road many a time between 1984 and 1988 I was posted to CFE Lahr.....I miss Deutschland and Schwarzwald Greatly....Beautiful Poeple, Country, and Traditions, and of course the beers and schnaps......Thank you for The Memories Travel and Adventure.
