    Thank you SO MUCH for doing this experiment and saving me hours of messing around doing 99% of the same items! Seriously thank you ❤ I have so many ideas now and know exactly what I can and cannot do!

    The mattress might look like trouble, even tragedy. She has seen mattresses before and they usually have people on them. She's worried. She thinks something is terribly wrong.

    I've had great success when I suspend items in the formula instead of letting them sit in the container. It allows crystals to grow all around and don't stick to anything when you remove.

      Nice. Are these crystals like salt where it'd dissolve in water, or do they form like rocks? Also, do the crystals grow larger the longer they stay in, or do they have a limit

    • @DivaChicluvsCena
      @DivaChicluvsCena 5 місяців тому

      @@danawhite3387 Kinda like you would a no sew blanket. I portion how big I want the blanket and arrange the shirt pieces as such. I cut the ends of each panel/shirt all the way around in strips and then just tie them together. Side to side and top to bottom.

    Epsom Salt crystals can take a very long time to start growing. But once they start growing they tend to form beautiful, long needle crystals.

    Thank you for this experiment, it answered so many questions about what could be used. I also had to turn the volume all the way up. I think your cactus form had larger crystals due to the form holding heat. Other videos trying to make large ones all seem to say to slow the cooling. Some set the mix with objects in a cooler closed overnight to slow it down and get bigger crystals. Your metal may have had lots of growth esp. on back because it's not really smooth. It has tons of micro fine lines and pitting, if you ever see some under a microscope it's amazing.

    • @VanDownByTheRiver1
      @VanDownByTheRiver1 2 роки тому

      That's a great point about the plaster cactus, due to it holding heat for longer is probably exactly why the crystals grew larger

    • @puppypowerart43
      @puppypowerart43 Рік тому

      Oh cool thanks for the tip! Yeah I might try growing crystals on plaster more in the future, cause it turned out pretty cool! Also cool info about metal, some time I'll have to look at it under a microscope. It's wild how different things look at that level
