Gonna need to try that shine polish
The body looks great as well as the chassis Greg!
Still figuring out the camera sit.
Apologize for the camera, trying to figure out why it is doing that.
We need to check your frame rate settings
lol 😂 love the intro. Vettes looking good! Cheers! 🏁
Thanks Mass.
Great running. And loving the layout ✌🏼
It's the 5th layout, and may be the last, fun to drive.

Thanks Todd.
That Corvette is looking good on track!!!!
They are beautiful cars.
Nice Haul there Greg 👍🏼
It will be interesting to see what comes out of all that.
Nice little score from Joe 👌👊💥
Yes, now to see what I can do with it.
Glad it got there in good condition. Now I have some proof they weren't all mine 😂 Thanks Greg. Looking forward to seeing what you can do with them 🎉🎉
Thanks Joe, me too.
I appreciate you showing these builds. I'm seeing ways to get around some time-consuming issues I am having with mine.
Looking good Greg. Did those black body mounts come with the model or acquired elsewhere? Ty
I bought them somewhere but can't remember where HSF, one of the websites'
The are available in numerous places as well as Ebay. Do a search for H&R body mount kit.
Nice Greg, I need to dive down the scratch build one of these days. Wheel reminds me of that missing Pioneer mirror, I have yet to find. :)
I'm still looking for many parts as well as the driver of my Shelby Cobra 289 who bailed out during the last race.
Where did you get that body mount kit? Gotta link? Also does it come in 1/32 scale? Good stuff Greg. 🫡
Got tot SCC, SlotCarCorner. Comeswith the kit or buy separately. Part 3 HR0502
part# not part 3
@Clearwater124 Thank you Greg. Much appreciated! 🫡
Excellent
Car looks great Greg!! Nice job!
Nice share Greg you definitely know your track🎉
Thanks Ted.
Cool car mate 👍
Thanks Shane.
I love the 63 Vette and will end up building one at some point. Yours looks like a fun ride. Since I see you mostly using analog 1/24th. scale cars, have you ever tried the competition style chassis cars on your track? With some mods, they may provide a great starting point for your builds. I'm producing some videos now where I'm running them on an Evolution system and I'm seeing lots of potential.
Actually Douglas, the last series of cars doing timed laps were digital cars. I may try a "competition" chassis at some time but like creating my own also. I don't have plans to race at my local track although I may give it a try to have the experience again. As a teenager many years ago I found those places unwelcoming.
@@Clearwater124 I guess I didn't notice you changing lanes on the timed laps lately and just assumed you were running analog. I did catch that some of the cars were Carrera digital, but thought they were in analog mode on your track. I like seeing you create your own chassis also, but the competition chassis might give you another interesting starting point for modification to clearwater 124 specs. Used earlier generation race cars can be purchased inexpensively. Since the main clientele at the commercial tracks are men about our age, you may find the folks at your local track to be more inclusive now then they were back when you were a kid. Give it a try. You might meet some good people and you will probably have fun.
Good sound on this one dude and great running car 🎉
The sound thing seems to be hit or miss. I was going to do a vid last night and couldn't get it to work right.
I luv the older stock... you just dont see them often.. thanks for taking time out to show us.
They are nice Dafingers, and pricey!
That is a beautiful corvette! That would be great to cruise around the track.
It's a beauty for sure.
I have done a video and was that was sweet and then no sound. 🤬 Nice looking and sweet running car!
Thanks HSF
Wouldn’t exactly call it 💩Greg Wow moving on up buddy 👍🦊🤪
Good stuff Greg. Cant wait to see you set up 🎉🎉
Nrw toys for the boys..
Just catching up on your videos mate! What a track setup you have! From track layout to camera angle. That corvette is oh so sweet. Cheers 👍😎🇦🇺
Thanks DAS? Much appreciated!
Nice work area you have there Greg, love these Brass chassis cars 👍🏼.
Hi Greg, I believe you've got the guide backwards. Double check before you resolder the tongue this way your measurement is correct
Nice work Greg, im starting to get the itch again for a 132 car myself
cool hobby
Coming along nicely Greg. Did the body mount brackets come with the model?
No, the black mounts with the brass screws were bought separatley
Ive had that problem with the guide plate placement. I set the guide plate in place in the frame but dont solder it until my axle placement is done then with the body sitting over the chassis I adjust the guide plate to where I want it and solder it in. This seems to work for me. Great video Greg! 🫡
Checking out the vids, newest member here
Thank you.
Good morning Greg just watching you do some fabrication to a chassis. I didn’t start that project yet. I bought some brass but I have to get the rest of the stuff. I figured I’d get my track pretty much done before I start another project. I really enjoy watching you work on your projects. Well, I hope you have a great day Greg to you and your family. Love you bro and I’ll catch you in the next one.🎉❤👍🏽👍🏽
Good morning Greg it’s Friday morning. I believe it’s the 24th anyways I think the lighting looks good on your track and also I like how you clean your truck and you have a nice batch of cars like I said I’m gonna start collecting digital 1/24 scale cars I think the career cars they look nice in their indestructible. I also like skill electric cars. I enjoy watching all your videos you teach this guys a lot of good information I hope what I say is coming out right I’m talking into my phone and it writes everything down but I’m not wearing my glasses cause I end up breaking them and I want to put them on so it’s kinda hard to read what I’m saying Just pray it comes out right have a great one Greg and the next video brother thank you🎉
Thanks Anthony.
@ You’re welcome, Greg. Have a great night Bro! to you and your family. 🎉👍🏽👍🏽
Good morning Greg just catching up with all your videos that cheetah another nice car. I like to own that one too. I have to check out the LEB hobbies is it called. It’s really a nice running car. I love when you tell the history of the cars. I’m still running with magnets I believe what you say, though when you have magnets, the crashes are more volatile and another thing is so true what you said all you get the more you can’t remember my my memory is not that good. I have to start writing stuff down I pray I never lose my memory that would be awful . Love your words Brother. Add to the next video of yours. Have a good one Greg.🎉👍🏽👍🏽
Good morning Greg enjoy watching videos bro that Corvette sports pretty cool looking. I’m going to be starting to collect my 124 scale digital collection now thanks for giving us some great videos catching the next one Greg.🎉
Thanks for showing this, Greg. I appreciate your camera position also because I know that can be a hassle to set up when you just want to get some work done on a project. I'll have to return to this video more carefully once I am ready to start soldering up a chassis. What do you figure is your material cost to build a custom chassis, by the time you have bought all the metal parts, wheels tires, axles, guides, motor, motor mount, etc.? Do you try to match your slot car tire's outside diameter to the outside tire diameter of the plastic car model you are using for the body?
Hey Doug, thanks for watchin. A 125 chassis build without body is probably about $90. That includes everything to make it a roller. Then add your body, either a model kit or 3D printed. I don't even care about the model tires, I build the chassis to fit the body.
@@Clearwater124 Thanks, I understand that you build the chassis to suit the dimensions of the chosen body, but do you select your slot car's wheels/tires to match the outside diameter of the kit car's tires so they fit/fill in the wheel wells correctly?
@ I do not, I build the wheelbase and then set the ride height to whatever wheel or tires I choose to use.
@@Clearwater124 Thank you.
