the speed relatively airmass around: 66...68km/h at full speed-bar(accelerator) ; ~40...42km/h - on trim (hands up without accelerator). The normal speed at crossing to the next thermal (at the best glide-ratio ~13) ~45...50km/h. The speed relatively ground may vary according to the wind speed and its direction; so, 73km/h relatively ground is a quite common reading... Such performance is typical for the most modern competition open class (CCC) wings, Boomerangs(9,10,11,12) from Gin are traditionally at a little speedier side of bench but its competitors may have other minor advantages most of them are a matter of taste and pilot' preferences...
