Energy & Environment Institute, University of Hull
United Kingdom
Приєднався 3 чер 2020
Our climate is changing and sea level is rising. The world’s population is expected to reach 9 billion by 2050, forcing people to inhabit marginal areas. This will dramatically increase flood risk, create huge pressures on vital resources and present immense challenges to communities.
The Energy and Environment Institute at the University of Hull brings together the skills and capabilities of leading researchers to tackle global challenges related to climate change and its consequences for our world and the communities living in it.

Hi UPSC
Nice concept if it is combined with the reduction of consumption by developed countries
It isn't known as the energy estuary haha
I'd be very happy to get on this PhD program! Using renewable energy solutions as a strategy to tackle the planet's climate crisis has been (still is) a subject I'm most passionate about from a very young age. This informed my decision to study Chemical Engineering for my undergrad study (where I finished with a second class upper). I have tried to kindle the flames of this passion through an MSc in a related course, but the funds have unfortunately held me back. This PhD sure is the way to go.
If sea level rise is true. Then why on earth has it not risen where i live. Whilst im all for cleaning up our act i dont belive in man induced sea level rise. Im not making it up when i say that in my experience, the sea level has not risen where i live. Coastal erosion and the comings and goings of sand dunes etc, “buffer zones” has always happened and always will. The only change is silly humans building on them. Take the encroachment by humans away and the problem ceases to be a problem and nothing new. We silly humans protecting our dollars must look really stupid to mother nature. The building of any sea wall is the ugliest form of environmental vandalism i have seen. Please folks think for yourselves. Pollute less. Consume less. Plant endemic plants and trees. Build away from the erosive forces of nature. Chase less money. People and nature are whats important
Gentlemen, thank you so much. I am new to LSPIV but the potential is apparent. I'm very grateful that I can play around and learn with a free software. Cheers!
Hello, I am also a new of LSPIV, but I have encountered some problems in the process of using this free software. I can't find the installation package of Fudaa-LSPIV according to the tutorial. Could you please guide me? Thank you very much!
Thanks for your knowledge
The world's coastline has been eroding and the ocean has been rising since the last Ice Age, how much man has increased that is a separate issue.

Hello! I liked your video so much. I have been trying to find for a vid that breaks down everything in this video! 👨⚕️ The description at 1:03 is my favorite. Your content for sure reminds me of the videos from Doctor Ethan! Doctor Ethan's videos are actually helpful and he helped me on my exams. He is the most informative medical student in Nottingham and he explains mental health. I recommend you check out his UA-cam out and give the Dr a like over here! ➡️ #DrEthanAdvice
Let's make it happen.
Great
