My tank is 6 feet long and I can keep 6 to 8 dozen shiners easily. I have kept up to 10 dozen alive for a couple of days, but water quality issues are more significant as you increase the shiner load.

An 8 foot tank would allow more water volume.

Follow the old logging road to the top of Whiteside Mountain. Where the trail cuts back to the right at the top of the cliffs there is an unmarked spur trail that drops off to the left. The entire Devils Courthouse trail is a 3 mile loop that comes back to the parking area.

Nope. Just let the shiner swim around until the bass find it. Sometimes we don't even use a cork.

I move around and bait 5 or 6 spots, then come back and throw on the first one. Might be 10 minutes. Then chum a little more as you try each spot and go around again.

I didn't know you could order it in rolls!. In someone else's video, he was cutting up a/c filters, and it probably wasn't filtering as well. Thank you for your reply!

100 gallon tank, I rarely fill more than 30 to 40 gallons with a cover.

You can keep them for a couple of weeks in cold weather with daily water changes. Water quality will improve after 2 or 3 days as they purge out if you don't feed them.

I hope your luck is better than mine. One end of the axle was damaged from dragging on the road. The other bearing wouldn't come off even with a sledge hammer. Still could have been worse.
