From Alma Deutscher's opera Cinderella Sung by Leandro Tomas Cuadra. The image used is the "Pale Blue Dot" by the Cassini Probe, an actual image of Earth as seen from Saturn. I would argue, the closest image to ever capture an actual star of hope.

Je ne m'en lasse pas .... depuis je l'ai découvert...et je n'aime pas kaufman. Cest un des moments magiques de l'opéra ou on frôle le perfection ...un de ces moments qui deviennent des moments de références. A souligner l'extraordinaire performance de Sophie Koch. Cest de toute beauté, l'orchestre aussi transforme le tout en un trio hors du temps.

He was at his best here, but his voice is not so good anymore. A pity, he was one of the more promising opera stars of the 21st century. We just dont have the likes of Jussi Borling, Enrico Caruso, Benjamino Gili and Franco Corelli anymore.

I had the great fortune to see the incomparable Alfredo Kraus sing Werther in San Francisco in the mid-80’s. His rendition of “Pourquoi me revellier” was magnificent and still ranks as my personally greatest thrill of viewing live opera. But after hearing Kaufman’s singing of this stunningly beautiful aria, I have to admit it is an even better rendition!
I still can't get over the fact that one of the commenters in this video heard Kraus live, you are damn lucky sir, I was born way after I could have had that privilege.
