I’d like to see you review “Megaton Musashi Wired” also. It’s a Level-5 Mecha game that looks pretty interesting

Just discovered the channel, great review! Been a huge “SMT” fan since I picked up “Nocturne” in 2004 back in college. I was disappointed by the story & characterization in “SMT V”. (Especially compared “SMT IV” & SMT IV:A”). Loved the gameplay & graphics though! Sooooo happy Atlus listened to us fans & made improvements! Also happy they optimized “SMT V” & “Metaphor: ReFantazio” for Steam Deck! Both look & play amazing on it!

I'm approaching the endgame myself and agree with basically everything you had to say in this review. One more criticism I'd levy is the facial animations and mocap aren't particularly good by 2024 standards, which detracts a bit from my experience. Taash is completely insufferable, basically a spoiled child, and wouldn't have made it past the interview if I had a choice. I also played mage(spell blade) and find the build-crafting in general to be the most enjoyable part of the game for me- The skill tree and item/rune combinations you can come up with from the midgame onwards offer a lot of room for player expression. Wish we had at least one more slot for skills.

Very good game, the only BUT I can say to it is at some point it turns very repetitive and linear.

The game is good, like 8.5 score on hard difficulty, all quest done. But this game will not beat FF 7 Rebirth, because lack of quality. no world map, lack of expression, map design half done, lack of content, every side quest dungeon generic by AI, and more importantly this game have same pattern from P5R especially when u kill the last boss. Big size bosses vs big size archetype (or persona). Maybe it looks cool for new player, but for veteran RPG who finished tons of RPG, its getting boring by the end of the game.

The people who wrote the character writing in this game NEED TO BE FIRED. Taash is trash. One letter difference. No surprise. Also, how can a thief not steal anything? This game is just DUMB.

best one for me was chocobo racing, worst one for me was cactaur rushes with aerith and yuffie

Good review agree with it, if they dropped Trash into a delete bin would helper ALOT with general hate this game got. Along with if this game from not called Dragon Age and didn’t come from BioWare, this would been a pretty good received game. Strong 8/10 But it’s not in a safe little bubble so with the brand it is follow up to it’s a 5/6.

Pretty much. Makes sense right it isn't a bad action game. It has a few really bad parts... and some really smooth ones. But in the end, it is not worth the name Dragon Age. And with just how weak the RPG parts are :( makes me sad.

"I'm non-binary" How the hell does anyone in that period know what that is!?! They don't even use the word "gay" or "homosexual". It was such a taboo subject that they said "prefer the company of men" or "rumours I won't repeat here". Now suddenly they know the concept of non-binary. It's lazy writing!

That you can't import your desicions from the previous three games is dealbreaker to me. I won't buy a "kinda OK" cancelled MMO with the name "Dragon Age" slapped on it.

DA:Veilguard gets a 0% from me. Not because of terrible companions, a storyline that invalidates everything you did in other DA games, the awful writing or nonsensical plot points (all of which exist in abundance). Nope, it gets a 0% because it's advertised as a RPG and it's not. There's no role-playing or decisions of consequence whatsoever. It's falsely advertised. it is NOT a RPG. It's an action-adventure game, similar to Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. Misrepresent your game? You get 0%.

Considering I was a huge fan and started at Origins, and I’m sad to have to miss adventures with Manfred, but this game doesn’t look worth it to me.

So, for the player... I guess in a nutshell, it's okay to have multiple launchers, just don't run them all at once.

Just finished the game right now. Truly one of the greatest JRPGs of all time!

My ranking is S : Castti - Strongest storyline in my opinion due to how beautifully written it is Temenos - Such a big contrast compared to the first octopath traveller healer storyline... the detective storyline is not something I expected associate with a priest A : Throne - the last chapter is abit disjointed in my opinion Osvald - great revenge storyline Ochette - I quite like the story progression of this one B : Partitio - The merchant storylines in both OT1 and OT2 are kinda weak in my opinion but they have some of the best tracks in the series Hikari - I am also not fond of the warrior storyline but the music in his chapters make up for it (best town music in my opinion) C : Agnea - I really really don't like this storyline at all
