Nice win with the blue deck! I think since you were doing a challenge you were a little more prudent with your play. I love it man! Also, I think the dagger play was fine. Also, since the free jokers wouldn't have effected the mult in a played hand IMO you would have been fine to buy and sell them. Could have been a good way to up your econ for a couple hands. Again, good job buddy!

the benefit of using Hieroglpyh (-1 ante, -1 hand) is to give you more time before ante 8 to build your deck. it gives you time so you can get better jokers or manage your deck to be more likely to get a good hand. its better in later antes

Congrats on the win! Can’t wait to see you beat the blue deck! One thing to watch out for is playing higher tier hands after leveling a lower tier hand. I noticed it happen kinda regularly, ie: full house over leveled 3 of a kind, four of a kind over leveled 3 of a kind, two pair over higher leveled pair etc. don’t be forget to check your run info for base chip/mult and levels of hands. It can be pretty counterintuitive, a stronger hand should be stronger dammit! Side note on leveling : I personally think the full house leveling is super nerfed, lvl 2 flush is actually better than lvl 2 full house iirc.(not that it really pertains to the video just something I’ve noticed.) Raised fist only targets the lowest rank card in your hand. When that card is debuffed it has no value for Raised fist to double so no mult is added. Also, when I play I try to keep out of debt and a minimum of $5 at the end of the shop for interest, especially in the first few rounds. Any extra $ that can be earned early is a boon. The rocket was a good pick because it scales rather quickly and is consistent. If you hadn’t been in debt it would have helped you get to the max interest per hand quickly NGL I spend a ridiculous amount of time comparing hands to see what’s best. I also don’t like to play a hand til I’ve discarded at least once to improve my starting hand. I also tend to use hands played as a discard. IE still playing 5 cards even though the hand is 2/3/4 cards. It gets you a 5 card draw without wasting a discard. I love to see the progress though man and the commentary is top notch, keep it up!

4:07 you pitched a flush. Hanging Chad means the first card you play in each hand is retriggered 2 times. It acts as if you played the card 3 times. Don't get too focused looking for certain hands, be sure to compare base chip/mult for the hands, there should be a button on the left for that. I don't personally add cards to my deck early unless there is a definite direction I know it is going. IE due to a first store rare joker or spectral pack or something. I try to gain interest if there aren't good jokers or non-playing card booster packs in the store. Good luck, have fun and don't beat yourself up if something doesn't go as planned. I also became an addict quick... over 30 hours in 4 days.

Wanted to comment, you are able to get more than 5 jokers!! Negative jokers give you more joker slots!

Good work Daz. The shield is a good idea. The spiders aren't easy. This game is a really tactical one. Bad thing is you don't know where are you going. Is there not a quest marker in the game? It's losing points to me. I think about, to buy it. But, if I don't find the right way, it's hard to play. I think maybe I'm more lost as you. 😅

The world of insects is really dangerous and deadly. I'm glad I'm not living there as a tiny person.

My OCD is going crazy because you didn't put the wood grain going in the same direction.

You have a pretty cool base setup. However, you will have to move it, because of constant enemy raids attacking your bases. The higher you level up and advance through the game so does the enemy attacks. You have to build your bases on higher ground level where they can’t be reached and destroyed. A great way to start off your initial base is location (232, -547). It’s located right at the back of the island starting point. A recurrent chest will respond along with trees and rocks that produce paldium fragments. Also, there’s a beach that has a dungeon. I’ve done all activities there from farming, mining, pal breeding, crafting weapons and items, so forth and so on. If you do use this location I look forward to seeing what masterpiece you will build. 🙂

@16:14 you can just keep pressing the half button it’ll decrease how much you wanna take, that way you don’t have to set the other stack to another inventory slot.

If you put vixy in your ranch it will dig up pal spheres and arrows also best way to level up early is to catch basically everything you level up pretty fast doing that

I have noticed in my playthrough that the dark type pals tend to spawn at night

You use the effigy at you statue of power to help increase your capture rate

That area was the sanctuary where the Tera eikthyrdeer plus alot of other good pals i was able to get a grizzbolt from there

I'm also new to palworld and really enjoy watching your videos. Not sure if you know this but you are able to fast travel from your base using the palbox

i just completed my run. I've breed and maxed god-like pals. And its quite fun and wholesome to watch someone learn it all. SO... I will not spoil much, but there is MASSIVE difference in palworld before you catch\breed Anubis and after him. Take your time and have fun.

Saw no comments, heard a call for help, brain went on the fritz. Palbox creates a Ring of Influence in which any deployed pals work, (Ones who can mine will mine, ones who can chop will chop, pay attention to symbols. Cativa>Most early on due to mining, building, etc but you have to figure out what suits the job best yourself. Any materials IN that ring of influence will be considered when crafting items, and if your craft stations/work stations are within that ring your pals may help craft items (If they have the Handicraft/Hand Skill) (This will include your ability to gather resources for say, 30 pal spheres, you can just set it and forget it, letting the deployed pal make your 30 spheres while you do whatever else.) When you are standing in this ring of influence, your partner pal (The 1 pal you sent out via a ball) will help around the base/palbox the same way the deployed pals do. Your base will have levels in it. If you head to the Palbox and look at the prompts, one is about leveling your base. The level requirements will help you focus on things you'll need in time (Like building foundations/roofs, beds, farms, etc.) VERY Early On, if you really are not a fan of building the spheres, try finding a pal called (VIXY) And deploy it at a ranch. It's produce is digging up items like Arrows (For Bows/Crossbows), Palspheres (Blue, Green later, and even Red if you really want to get crazy with a Vixy, covering the first 3 levels of spheres). If you add a Chest on your base, Pals will deliver items to the chest. They will deliver via the shortest point. Example: Chest A that you want to be stone and wood is at one side of the base, Chest B that you want to be ammo, guns, fruit, etc is on the other. If they harvest stone and Chest B is closer, they tend to deliver to Chest B. Once more, remember that all materials in the ring of influence count however, so when crafting items All Stone in chest A, B AND Your Inventory will be tallied and used on the base. Other than info on a Vixy, I don't want to direct you on exactly how to play. Just clarifying mechanics and Vixy's own mechanic. If you do play this/nobody told you anything between then and now, hope this helps a little bit.
